Our house is in the heart of the South Downs National Park, in the beautiful village of Compton, with a renowned shop and tearoom and village pub. We are close to Goodwood and the beaches of West Wittering, while walking on the South Downs is accessible from our back gate. Our house once two brick and flint farm cottages now a beautiful modern house. It's perfect for families or couples who want to enjoy the local attractions of West Sussex and experience living in a Downlands village.
Our house is a modern, beautiful space to spend time in. We have wonderful views out to the South Downs. All the bathrooms and bedrooms have recently been refurbished. The kitchen and sitting room is open plan, very light and a gorgeous place to hang out.
The village is a fantastic place. We have a great shop selling delicious breads and day to day necessities. The tea room is a popular place particularly with cyclists. There are many good pubs and restaurants scattered around the area.
There is lots to do in the surrounding countryside. Plenty of off and on road cycling. Great sailing in Chichester habour and Goodwood close by with its infamous racing days and events for car enthusiasts.
Guests will be able to access all areas of the house.
- No pets upstairs.
I am a mother of three young boys, Patrick, 10, Freddie, 8, and William, 6. We live in the South Downs National Park in West Sussex in England. Our favourite time is the weekend when we get to hang out together, play sports and see friends. My husband, Ian and I share a passion in music and theatre and enjoy watching live bands. We are close enough to London, Brighton and Portsmouth to watch bands. I enjoy cooking and have recently started to grow my own vegetables.
