The accommodation is airy and light, private and peaceful, tasteful and clean. It is only a short distance to Eumundi (and Cooroy) by car, so not remote, and conveniently located to explore both the coast and hinterland. Anne & John made checking in and out very easy, and were available if needed. They provided a well-stocked refrigerator for breakfasts. Wonderful stay. Couldn't have been better.

From the moment we arrived Anne was very helpful and detailed about the cottage and best places / restaurants nearby. We had special dietary requirements and she catered for us perfectly. The serenity from the deck was just lovely and we would recommend this to anyone wanting a peaceful place but also a short trip into the town of Eumundi and surrounds.

We really enjoyed our stay at John&Anne's, they were very welcoming even before we arrived! The cottage was beautifully presented and immaculate in cleanliness. We were given breakfast hampers which were diverse in items and of the freshest quality products. Even tho the cottage was on part of their property, they were non- intrusive yet we knew we could call on them at anytime.I definitely would recommend a stay at John&Annes cottages it was well worth it. Thanks.

My wife and I spent 7 nights as we toured around the Sun Coast and the outlying towns. We normally use hotels so a b&b was new to us. The unit was newly built and spacious, featuring good quality fittings and very well finished off. The location is very quiet and features a large expanse of lawn surrounded by trees. There are several species of birds that spend time around the units and are largely unconcerned about humans, which adds to the tranquil feel of the place. We spent quite a bit of time just sitting on the veranda relaxing, so didn't do quite as much driving around as we could have. We were very well looked after by Anne and John and all in all the stay was a very pleasant experience which we hope to repeat in the future.

We made the trip up to Eumundi from Melbourne for two nights and three days. We absolutely loved staying at John and Anne's cottage. The place is set amongst lush greenery. There is a vast expanse of cleared land which overlooks a damn and masses of trees. The cottage has an abundance of windows, and from inside the cottage and also out on the deck, it is beautiful to watch the sky change colours as the sun sets. The light coming through the trees is spectacular and we really enjoyed the serenity of the place. The place is run by rain water. So the tap water tastes amazing! The shower is the perfect level of pressure and there is a really nice touch with beautiful qualities towels and a really nice, modern bathroom. Anne offers different options for breakfast, either a hot or cold basket, or different baskets on each day. We chose a hot basket and received a great variety of foods to cook and eat cold. The cottage also has a variety of teas, nespresso coffee pods, hot chocolate, herbal tea, biscuits (sweet) and milk. If you are into savoury snacks, bring some along. There is plenty to find out in Eumundi Markets on Wed and Sat. We went there on a Saturday and spent a blissful day listening to great music, eating awesome food, and generally enjoying the chilled out vibes. We hired a car as we got to Eumundi from Brisbane, and would recommend having a car if staying here. It would be at least an hour's walk to get into town, but I wouldn't change that for anything, as the serenity at the cottage is perfect. It also means you can spend an afternoon at the beach (20 mins away - pristine!). Overall, I highly recommend staying at this place. Oh and also, the windows are tinted and nothing looks into the cottage, so it's very private.
