Lovely house, gardens and host. Robert welcomed us with home-cooked Brownies and prepared a delicious breakfast with his home-cooked blackberry preserve! Quiet location & easy to find. Short walk to all conveniences.

I had a light and spacious room, with a wash basin as well as the separate facilities. The continental breakfast was good and the host was flexible about the timing. Off street parking is useful in Sidmouth! I'd stay again.

I highly recommend to stay in The Rectory. Very clean, nice atmosphere, very close to sea, tasty breakfast and nice owner. You will never regret.

The Rectory is a lovely, comfortable and clean house with the very pleasant guest room overlooking a large and pretty garden. Robert was away, so we were greeted by Philip. He was a charming and attentive host, and nothing was too much trouble. It's a short walk to the seafront, so an ideal location. Highly recommended.

Robert was on holidays but Phillip filled in wonderfully. In touch before and right there when I arrived with a welcome coffee and plenty of helpful advice. He provided great support and adapted to my needs. It is a wonderful room with great light in a lovely house in a perfect location to get to the sea shore, just a five minute walk away. The bed and amenities were fabulous. I had a perfectly relaxing hassle free stay thanks to Phillip. Recommended highly

This is a rather impressive house in a mature garden, no more than 5 or 10 minutes walk from the beach and town centre. The room is spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. I didn't have breakfast, needing to leave early and so cannot comment on it but would be surprised if it was not at the sam high standard.
