The location of the apartment hotel is perfect - 5 to 7 minutes walk to the train station and the National Museum. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The staff are helpful. It's not a new building but you can have almost everything you need, including laundry machines, which is nice when you have to stay for more than a week.

Best value for money! + Lisa responds quickly and is helpful + The kitchen is small but had everything I needed. Very big plus, if you want to save money. + The location is excellent! The train station and ETH are 5-10 min walking distance, the old town with many bars and restaurants maybe 10-15 min. There is a tram and bus stop right in front of the building. + You can check in with a code at any time - The street is quite noisy. No way to watch the TV with an open window and even with the window closed people with a light sleep might have a bad time. Most rooms seem to be towards the street, maybe you can ask for one towards the back. Or bring ear plugs, just in case. - The walls are pretty thin. Doesn't matter that much, if you are out all day anyways and your neighbours keep the noise down at night (be one of those neighbours!) - In my room there was a small issue with the cleanliness of the sheets, but I assume this is not the regular case. Everything else was clean. o This is pretty much an Appartement Hotel, but without a lobby. Don't expect a personal encounter. I didn't mind at all and as stated before you can get into touch with Lisa easily. -> For me this was the perfect place to stay in Zürich! Of course it's not the modern top class hotel, but it is really good value for money!

Lisa's place was perfect for what I needed. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the desk was plenty roomy enough to get a little work done, and the bathroom was impeccable. Check-in was a breeze (just enter a code Lisa gives you and pick your key up from a box near the building entryway). I never needed anything in my room, but Lisa was quick to respond when I had a question about where to get breakfast. The room is located right on a lightly-trafficked road and traffic starts up pretty predictably around 5:30am, but I was visiting on a cool weekend, so I just shut the window and it wasn't a problem at all. I'll definitely check if Lisa's place is available on my next visit to Zurich.

Very central location at a decent price! The room was clean and quiet. Lisa and the hotel staff were helpful and very nice!

The location is fantastic! A walking distance from a lot of attractions around Zurich. It was very clean, and the host was more then willing to give us advice on what to do around the city and help in anyway needed. Overall, a great experience.

Comfortable bed, great location (close to my office and very close to the main train station), also includes free laundry machine/dryer (you just have to put your name on the schedule). Only one con, though not a big deal: there isn't a way to control temperature in the room (managed by the building), so you may need to sleep with the window open if it is warm.
