About this listing
Come enjoy our spacious apartment on the border of Pacific Heights and the Marina! We're centrally located 2 blocks from Union St, 5 blocks from Fillmore St, and a quick walk from the Marina Green and the water. Amazing restaurants and shopping are only brief walk in any direction. The perfect location, classic dark wood aesthetics, and outdoor porch that gets sun nearly the entire day in the summer without a breeze makes our cozy apartment a dream for any stay.
Pacific Heights, locally referred to as "Pac Heights" is a central location near Union Street shopping with great restaurant and bar life, Polk, Chestnut, and Fillmore streets are only a short 5-10 minute walk way. The walk to Fillmore along Broadway Street has one of the most hidden and breathtaking Golden Gate Bridge views in the City. The Financial District ("FiDi") and Fisherman’s Wharf are only 10/15 minutes by bus, the bus stop is 2 blocks away down hill.
Honestly this location is really hard to beat, it took us 4 YEARS to land this spot and we LOVE it.
If you’re looking for some great activities to fill your itinerary, in the summer months Friday night at Fort Mason hosts a food truck gathering with a live band and pop up bars called “Off the Grid.” Saturday - head to the Ferry Building for one of the largest SF Farmer’s Markets and on your way there walk up to Coyt Tower in North Beach for incredible 360 degree photo ops of the Bay (big hill to climb but worth every step), if hills aren’t your thing you can take the flat route and check out Fisherman’s Wharf, or bike over. Once at the the farmers market soak up all the great food and take a ferry over to Sausalito, Tiburon, or Angel Island. Saturday evening there is plenty of nightlife on Union, Polk or Fillmore… Union and FIllmore are my personal favorites.

Muni Transportation is really accurate, phone app/maps to see local bus routes easily. The nearest bus stop to downtown/ Financial District runs over Russian Hill, through North Beach and China Town.
Bus 41 - 15 mins to Financial District. Runs weekdays only during rush hour. Bus 45 - 15 mins to Union Square. Runs everyday and takes nearly the same route as the 41, but veers into China Town and Union square.
Parking isn't great, I would recommend finding street parking early in the day if possible.
