This charming villa is situated on La Digue, in the area of La Passe (5-10 minutes the port/jetty), on a small hill, between the sea and the forest, with a wonderful view of the ocean and Praslin, as well as sea breezes to enjoy on the terrace.

The space

The house, beautifully decorated with local wood, features 3 double rooms, a large open saloon and a living area, that gives the villa volume and space with a fantastic panoramic ocean view. There are very few houses on La Digue that have panoramic sea views, and no other of the same standard of comfort for your vacation.

We have two (2) bedrooms upstairs which have access to one bathroom (bathtub, shower, washbasin, and toilet). 1 bedroom upstairs of 50 m² features king size bed 200x200 cm or 2 beds 90 cm. Another bedroom of 15 m² has two twin beds, which is perfect for children.

Downstairs there is a kitchen of 15 m², very spacious saloon & living + dining room 60 m² and a terrace of 80 m². On the first floor; there is also one (1) bedroom of 50 m², king size bed 200x200 cm with private bathroom (washbasin, bathtub, and toilet), and access from the bedroom to a side terrace.

We have the following amenities to offer you:

Fully-equipped Kitchen with a Dish Washer and Fridge
Room fans
TV, CD/DVD
Washing machine
2 room safes
Hairdryer
Tumble Drier

The villa may be rented as self-catering vacation home or B&B/ Half-board meaning that for additional fee breakfasts may be available for you, as well as delicious Creole buffet-style dinners with exclusive drinks, such as locally-made flavored rums. The rooms also may be rented individually. Please inquiry with a specific request for more information.

Other things to note

Delicious breakfasts and Creole dinners are available upon request for additional fee.

The house is located in a little hill (thus you get ocean views!) in a quiet area close to La Passe/the port of La Digue. So, a little walking up of about 150 metres is required to reach the house. Free buggy transfer is provided upon arrival & departure.

This is a very nice, big villa on a beautiful island. Accommodated six adults without any problems. Great value. A/C in the bedrooms worked well and the porch and outdoor areas were wonderful for everyone to get together. There's a steep walk up to the house, but it means a terrific view from the terrace. Owner and staff all friendly and helpful arranging bicycles and taxis, recommending good takeaways and activities, etc. Would definitely recommend you let them cook a creole dinner for you at least once!

Our stay here was satisfying. House was very well designed with everything what you need being away from your home. Oryginally equipment. It have nice view on the sea. One disadvantage was layout of the rooms. One very big bedroom, near very small bedroom upstairs with one bathroom, and in downstairs one bedroom and bathroom. Fred and Marrita were very friendly, Anna also. They gave us one big container with drinkable water. This is for plus. For 4 people for 4 days isn't enough. House located on the quite big hill, but it isn't necessary to take taxi. You can rent a bike near the town. This rental will be cheapest than this which will suggest you Marrita. In summary we recommend this place.

Response from Anna:
Thank you Kamil for your review. The drinkable water was exclusively a bonus for you, part of service, that is usually not promised in the advertisement. Even though we never had guests complaining about the layout of the house, thank you for mentioning that as well.

This villa was absolutely amazing, and all 5 of us would highly recommend it to anyone! The communication with the host was great, and everything was arranged for our arrival way in advance. We were greeted with fresh fruit juice, and all our questions about the island and the activities there were answered imminently. The villa itself was beautiful, spacious and with gorgeous views!

Lovely, large house about a 5 minute cycle from the port at La Passe. Rooms were large and airy and the outdoor space was brilliant. Two good bathrooms, although would have been nice to have more than one shower. Overall, a very authentic Seychelles experience and a very friendly welcome.

Fredricks House was beautiful and the view from the house, terrace and balcony was stunning. The island of La Digue we loved and this place especially. On the hill in this quiet neighborhood the villa is positioned ideally and offers you many arrangements to relax - the terrace with the flowers around or the veranda for the family breakfast, or the beautiful living room with the large open kitchen. The bedrooms were need and very comfortable and the wind was blowing through the bedrooms at nigth so we could wonderfully sleep during that hot nights. Anne and Fredrick hosted us well and help us with bikes, tours and any other useful information about the island. We enjoyed La Digue 100% and would love to come back!!!!
