This cottage is so charming and very comfortable. The location is wonderful as well the views from both inside and outside of the cottage. Beautiful sitting areas outside and we loved the fire pit by the water. Very clean. Gas fireplace was great when it got chilly at night. Kristin and Peter are great hosts. Anything you need, any questions you have, Kristin or Peter respond right away. General Store within very short walk. Loved it!! Sad to leave :( Would definitely come back. views are

We had a great stay at this cottage and would definitely stay here again. It's a rustic, log building which has been all freshly renovated. The kitchen is well equipped, but could use a few extra utility bowls - we like to cook. The water is not potable, so bring lots of bottled. There's a good fire pit, and a practically new BBQ, complete with BBQ tools. We were unable to use the peddle boat as it's very heavy and we couldn't lift it down to the water. The weather was not the best, but the cottage is cosy and comfortable, with a million dollar view of the bay, (especially from the front bedroom) so we enjoyed relaxing, enjoying the view - very comfy living room furniture and a charming gas fireplace. All beds, including the sofa bed were very comfortable. Hope we get an opportunity to stay here again!

Peter and Kristen were great hosts - very communicative and responsive, and their property is lovely. They have put a lot of thought into making it work, and it is a generally cute and relaxing original log cabin. There is now a fence next to the property that was not there when we booked, so the feeling was slightly different than we expected, but it was still quite lovely. (Also, you should bring bottled water or other beverages as the tapwater has a distinct taste and odor.)

The cottage was very clean and cozy and well equipped, and Peter and Kristin were very responsive. We loved the location but were disappointed to find a very tall fence on one side of the property, completely obstructing the view of the water to that side. The water was very clean and we enjoyed swimming, however, the beach and lake bottom are very rocky so we would recommend water shoes.

This place is awesome, and so so so comfortable. The area is beautiful and quiet, the neighbors are lovely and the cottage itself is spotless and bright! We had a big storm while we were there and there was some damage to the dock and stairs, but Peter and Kristin had their friend come the next day and fix everything up like new. Just be aware that the water here is not potable, so you'll need to bring your own drinking water. Thanks guys!
