The room was clean and nicely decorated. Great value. Frances was very accommodating. She kept the cats out of our space which we appreciated. Coffee was great. The room is on the warm side, which might not be a problem for some. There is a ceiling fan which helps. We would stay again if in the area!

Thank you for your feedback. It's just a matter of lowering the thermostat, which I will remember to do for future guests!

We stayed in Frances home for a few night while visiting SC. The house is lovely and the room and bathroom were private, which was a bonus. And as soon as you walk in the front door, you go through some french doors and there is your space. You don't have to go through the whole house to get to your suite, which was a bonus for us. The bed is super comfortable and the suite is decorated very cute. We found the temperature very comfortable even though you can not control the temp to your suite. Others may find it a bit warm (or cold) depending on where you are from. A very good experience and recommend if you are ever in Beaufort!

Frances' home is convenient to points of interest in Beaufort and the Sea Islands. Her home inside was serene and restful. Frances was friendly but, at the same time, gave us space to enoy our vacation.

We enjoyed staying in Frances' lovely home. The guestroom was right off the front door, which made coming and going easy. The location is super convenient. I highly recommend bringing bikes, as it is a short and beautiful ride along Bay Street into town, or you can go the opposite way up Depot Road to the Spanish Moss Trail, which runs from Port Royal to Laurel Bay. There's plenty of room to lock up the bikes on Frances' covered porch. This is a great and affordable way to spend a few days in Beaufort. We're glad to have found Frances (and her two cats) on AirBnB!

I am a traveler, teacher, translator (ttt!), still working at doing all three. Add to that gardening and a bit of being socially active on the political front. I lived in Italy many years where I learned Italian and built many lasting friendships. I am new to Beaufort. I'm originally from Atlanta. (I have two indoor cats)
