Leah was very friendly and helpful. I wanted to go several different places and she drew very accurate maps and or told me what buses I could take to get there or how to walk there if that is what I choose. I was fortunate enough to be at her place for about a month and she gave me a full list of things that she thought I would enjoy going to. It was like having my very own personal tour guide. Her baking is as good as it comes and she always has some sweets around. Her location is very good and for me I was able to catch a bus across the street and it drop me off about one block from where I was studying. There are several grocery markets close by and some very good places to have a bite to eat. If you want a fantastic person to stay with and enjoy you surly should consider staying with Leah. It is very likely if I decide to go back to visit Israel again and her space is available I would book her room again.

Leah was not just the perfect host, but the perfect friend during my time in Jerusalem. She offered me not just her home, but her knowledge of the history of Israel, and her enthusiasm in answering all of my questions was unmatched by even my professors I worked with during my visit! This is why you should choose Leah's place over any hotel or any other AirBNB: she loves to host, and cares about the comfort of her guests as much as making sure they experience everything Jerusalem has to offer. (In addition, her apartment was beautiful, organized, and conveniently located to both the Hebrew University and the Old City!) I'll always truly appreciate and cherish my time with Leah and Jerusalem.

Dear Martin, I am touched by your review! thank you so much!! I am so glad you had a great time here. It was a total and absolute honor to host you here at my home, meeting someone so respectful, interesting, and thoughtful such as yourself. Hosting is always a 2-way street and you were so curious, it was my treat to have the opportunity to speak to you about all the topics we've discussed, and to host Shabbat dinner with you at the table. I owe you a sign of gratitude as well for providing me with good reason to go to the City of David and brush up on my history and knowledge of my beautiful and ancient city. The enjoyment is tenfold when I can enjoy the ancient and the new with wonderful people such as yourself who love to learn! I thank you for choosing to stay at my home and I truly hope that you will return here soon. My door will always be open for you! yours, Leah

Well, as a "first timer" on Airbnb, I didn't know what to expect. I've checked out several places in Jerusalem but what caught my attention was the same theme in Leah's reviews. Everyone raved about her great hospitality. Being a native Israeli on a casual visit to Jerusalem, I thought to myself "ehhh, we just need a bed". So to my great surprise, I learned that it's not just that. Leah is on a mission :) she LOVES to host and everything is thought through! Every little detail, from how to use the shower, the adorable welcome goodie package, charger kits, travel instructions, hand drawn maps, her great response time and communication, to the great conversation, depth and charming personality. Definitely a place to come back to! And the best treat....her cakes!!!!

Dear Dror, What a lovely review! thank you so much! It is true - I absolutely love hosting in my home, and I am so happy that you have given me the honor of getting to know you and hosting you in my home. The writer reflects himself even more than the subject of his writing and undeniably, you have made a lasting impression on me. Thank you for your excellent communication and understanding. I am grateful that despite lack of sleep for endless hours, you still took the time to converse with me after a long, harrowing marathon and provide me with much information that has filled many gaps in my knowledge. My home is always open to you and your family and I look forward to hosting you again in my home! Always, - Leah

It was a great experience for me to staying in Leah's place. She is so nice and thoughtful. She prepared anything I would possibly need - small package of tissue, phone chargers, hat, jacket, bags. You name it. She gave me lots of great suggestions for the places I should visit in the town, and she even draw the maps for me to show me how I can get there successfully. She also made me a cheese cake. I just want to say, this really feel like home to me!

Dear Yu , Thank you so much for your beautiful review. Hosting you was a truly lovely experience! You are so sweet and thoughtful, you left the house so clean and tidy. Communication with you was superb, and your curiosity about Jerusalem and the amazing cultural, historic and religious aspects of my beloved city was a delight to respond to. I am so happy that you had joined me with friends at the big Friday night dinner. It was an amazing experience for me to have an AirBNB guest of mine join me at event like this and an honor that it was specifically you who had been there with me. Conversing with you and your explanations about China's history, which I had not known much about, were very informative and I thoroughly enjoyed the way you explained about the city in which you had grown up. It is these conversations of getting to know other people and places that make hosting on AirBNB so much fun! thank you for giving me the honor of hosting you! Looking forward to hosting you again very soon! Enjoy the rest of your stay in Israel. :-) Love, Leah

I have now stayed with Leah three (URL HIDDEN) one way that says it all !!! If you want to stay somewhere in Jerusalem where the welcome is truly warm and generous, where you have everything to enjoy a comfortable and homely stay, where you benefit from your hostess's wide and thorough knowledge of Jerusalem and all it has to offer, where you can follow Leah's map and walk through the local neighbourhood to Old City, .....stay with Leah and if you are fortunate enough to be around on a day when Leah hosts a Shabbat lunch you can enjoy a wonderful experience with her and her friends as they celebrate. Leah enjoys her guests' presence and I have learned that each one is special for her. I will be back.

I am sure, Leahs Place is the best Place to stay in Jerusalem. Leah fulfills all your personal desires, she did all for me, i am sure i will be back at that place on my next trip to Jerusalem. I was very welcome to celebrate shabbat with her, a great experience. Her cooking and baking...just a dream:-) Leah is a really friendly woman, with a lot of humor and open to the world.Several supermarkets and bus stations in the neighborhood ar the comfortable extras that are needed. Everybody who didn't stay at Leahs Place until now, missed a really good experience. Thank you Leah for all!!!!!!!

Leah is absolutely a shining personality. And her homy apartment shines just as brilliant in its beauty and comfort. She keeps the home sparkling clean, and the linen and towels are washed and replaced very regularly. She has a beautiful porch that she keeps very clean. Nothing is too much when it comes to serving her guests. She has her apartment in a great environment, beautiful sightseeing places like the Monastry of the Cross and the Israel Museum, but also the old city and YMCA building within walking or bus travel distance. Not only that, there are also very nice restaurants (try cafe ella, or the mystic pizza restaurant at Harav Herzog), fine supermarkets and an international bank (Leumi) within walking distance. Do not forget to enjoy the stunning view from the living room window. Lounge on her beautiful porch while enjoying the view, discuss fascinating philosophical or religious topics in the living room (if you want, you can also enjoy and relax in the luxorious comfort of her couches), borrow one of her fascinating books and read it on your bed (it's brand-new super-comfortable and orthopedic). Just enjoy in this valuable, spacious apartment. As a student who needs a lot of quiet in order to study, I had all the privacy that I needed (at any point in time). I especially liked the fact that the walls are so thick that you won't hear any conversations of your hostess, and the hostess won't hear you if you're talking to your family or watching a video. The resulting privacy was really valuable. She is very hospitable. If you want, she lights the shabbes candles with you and shares the shabbes meals. She makes sure you know when and where the big events are. Her hand-drawn maps ensure that you will always find you way around Jerusalem. he offers the option of letting an acquainted taxi driver bring you from the airport to her home. If she isn't home at the moment you arrive, she makes sure either that the acquainted taxi driver gives you the keys or that you can get them from the neighbours. In summary, Leah takes care of everything, takes all time-consuming tasks out of your hands and makes sure you have all the time in the world to do in Jerusalem what you came to do there: see the sights and visit the events! In conclusion, visiting Leahs apartment will make you wonder: 'why are there only five stars, I would like to give it ten?'

I love hosting on AirBNB! Meeting people from all over the world is one of the things I enjoy most. Whether sitting together with guests on the balcony with a cup of coffee and some home-baked challah-bread and cookies talking about history while watching the sun set over the hills of Jerusalem, or gathered around the Friday night - Shabbat dinner table with friends and AirBNB guests, exposing new people to new experiences, there is always something of interest to share. My guests are a source of joy and I love the shared experiences and learning about their home countries, their perspectives on social media and even their views on cooking. Hosting enables me to provide guests with whatever they would like - whether it's complete privacy for the independent travelers, recommending highlights of the town upon request, providing directions and short cuts with clear hand-drawn maps, or sometimes joining guests for great seasonal events around my beautiful and amazing city of Jerusalem!! :-) In my opinion, this is what AirBNB is all about - connecting people in a fun and open way. I look forward to opening my door and enabling great and memorable experiences to all my future guests. Can't wait to host you too! :-)
