Loved Carroll Cottage exactly what we were looking for

Patricia's bungalow was an excellent, clean and tidy place to stay! Very homely and well thought out interior design. The situation of the house was perfect for our needs, such as Laytown Races, which were 20 minutes away, and only a forty minute drive to the airport. We are extremely happy with our choice of stay and will definitely return! Cheers Stuart and Co.

Patricia's house is very spacious and cosy for our family's overnight stay between our trip from Dublin to Northern Ireland. The master bedroom is spacious, and the extra 2 rooms are decent sized. The house is very well decorated and well equipped. There is a nice garden at the back of the house, and there is a shop nearby if we wanted to get groceries if we wanted to. Patricia kindly waited for us on our arrival, showed us around the house and even set up the fireplace for us beforehand to make sure the house was warm and cosy. Overall a very nice stay, wish we could have stayed here longer and would certainly recommend this place!

Patricia was a very thoughtful and kind host. She generously provided fruit, special treats for the kids, an extra bed for the baby, materials for the fire, extra bedding and towels if we wanted them, plus her house had books for reading, dvds, games, legos and other toys (neatly stored for when not in use). Patricia's house is geared to all age groups and types. It has one spacious main bedroom, a decent sized twin room, and a smaller single room -- very comfortable beds too. It has a single bathroom, entry hall, and decent sized kitchen with everything for meal prep. It has a great back yard with very interesting trees and bushes and large windows to enjoy in each room. Patricia was very warm and friendly and we are so glad to know that she is an option for lodging so near to Newgrange/Boyne valley destinations and the beach (Dublin too). Thanks!

We could only stay at Patricia's place for 2 nights but would have happily stayed there longer if our travel plans worked out that way. We received a warm Irish welcome from Patricia which included having the fire going; leaving us a small supply of lovely food (some local)

This is an excellent place to stay. It's very well kept, has lots of space both inside and out and all the privacy you would require. A lot of thought has gone into providing facilities and it has everything you would need plus some extra personal touches like 'starter' groceries of tea, coffee, fruit etc. There's a large shop [more like small supermarket] less than one minute away that's open from early until late and they also do takeaway hot food if you're too tired to cook some evenings. Patricia is an excellent host and is readily available to help you with anything at all regarding the accommodation or the local area. If you have your own transport and are thinking of staying around this location then save yourself some time by giving up the search for other accommodation. Choose this one and you won't be disappointed. Out of five stars, I would give this six *****[*].

Such a fabulous house and host we couldn't have asked for better. Right down to the little touches of toys for kids to the little treats. House itself is very comfortable and felt just like a home from home, we can't wait to return
