Come relax in our 19th century farmhouse on Wolfe Island. Beautiful bedroom, large common areas, eat in kitchen and sun room. Gorgeous treed lawn to listen to the birds and watch the horses grazing near by. Perfect for an artist's retreat. Full use of kitchen, cooking essentials and coffee and tea provided.
Wolfe Island is one of Canada's gems. You will feel miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet the ferry offers easy access to Kingston's downtown core if you're looking for a night out on the town.
In the winter enjoy snowy owl watching, skating, nordic skiing, or cosying up by the fire.
During the warmer seasons there is cycling, water sports, and walking at Big Sandy Bay. Also enjoy the waterfront patio of the Wolfe Island Grill which offers an inspiring menu, live music and gorgeous sun sets.
Wolfe Island is a great place to find inspiration, to become part of a community, and to enjoy nature and all it has to offer.
Interaction with guests
Since this is a working farm someone is usually around. We are happy to help however we can to make your stay more enjoyable
Other things to note
Wolfe Island is suitable for guests who are working or studying in Kingston on a short term basis but who don't want to live in the city or anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.
I am an easy going woman who enjoys nature, riding horses, gardening, live music and getting together with friends. I invite guests to share our home and make themselves comfortable. I enjoy meeting new people from all parts of the world.
