If I could give 10 stars, or even more, I would. The pictures and reviews (including this one) do not do Mark and Christina's casita any justice. It is that and x100 more. This was by far the best AirBnB we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Well maintained casita with attention to every little detail within the casita as well as its surroundings. Mark and Christina made sure to welcome us shortly after we arrived before we hit the sack. A genuine and thoughtful gesture of true hospitality. Mark cooks a beautiful breakfast inclusive of your stay and this breakfast is the powdered sugar, on top of the cherry, on top of the whipped cream of your stay! We popped out at around 8.30pm to find food and after 1hr we finally found a good place that wasn't takeaway that was still open - Olive Garden - only a 10min drive away from the casita. The staff here were super friendly, the barman offered us free wine, and engaged in genuine conversation about our travels. The people in Santa Maria are amazing and the care we received on our one night here was unbelievable. If you are passing through or staying here, you need not look any further than Mark and Christina's Casita. Thank you both again :)

Mark and Christina are fantastic hosts in every sense of the word possible. The breakfast (as mentioned many times in the reviews below!) is amazing and Mark is passionate about making great food. The space is beautifully equipped and well maintained. They have thought of pretty much everything you would want - it's a like a home away from home. Given the opportunity, we would stay again.

We have had stayed at many Airbnbs and I can say that this was honestly the best one yet. Mark's place was so relaxing and luxurious, and you can see the thoughtful attention to detail throughout. Mark and Christina were welcoming and attentive while giving you privacy and space. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and catered to my vegetarian partner. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Mark's place is all about attention to details and that attention means comfort and relaxation for his guests. Additionally, the breakfast we had was restaurant quality (better in fact) and tasted amazing.

Mark's place was AMAZING! My husband and I stayed there for one night during our road trip up Hwy 1 and we both said it was the best Air B&B experience we've had. The bed was so comfortable and the place was beautiful. We also had a delicious breakfast served to us that morning. If we are ever back thru we will definitely be back :)
