Overall I enjoyed my stay. The only issue was a lot of homeless people on the surrounding streets but if that doesn't bother you it's a great place to stay. I would stay again for sure.

Walking distance from the Gaslamp Quarters. So pretty convenient. Nima's apartment No. 7 was immaculate. Everything looked new. As described and as on the pictures. Although parking was to be an obstacle, we always found parking infront or around the building. The apartment was spick and span. Very clean with all the ammenities you wiuld expect to have. Nima was a great host as well as Jack who takes care of all your needs. We loved Nima's apartment and can only recommend it to future AirB&Bers.

I booked Mitra Loft 7 for a friend who was coming to visit but who couldn't stay with me because I have pets. The unit was clean and beautifully decorated with a nice view. It's a super cute little place in a nice building and the residents we met there were really nice, also. It could have used a few little extras like a coffee pot or bottled water, but those are just little details. Everything in it was comfortable and clean. My friend raved about how comfortable the bed was and she loved the pillows so much she wants me to find out what kind they are. We checked in with Jack via text earlier in the day and he gave us the codes to get in to the building and the code for the door. He lived in the building, so that was great to know that there was someone around in case anything went wonky. Mitra is in a very busy, active part of the city, but it was very quiet inside (thank goodness for triple paned glass!). The only really problematic area was parking. There is construction pretty much everywhere in downtown San Diego right now, unfortunately, and this area is no exception. As far as I know, each of the units in the building has a garage so it would be great if that was included with the loft. I didn't stay overnight and we used Uber or Lyft a lot, so we made it work. This is also an area plagued by homelessness. There will be people sleeping on the street across from the building and there are streets with tent cities all around that area. It's not a place you want to walk around on your own at night (especially as a female). But, just a couple blocks over is a park and a restaurant, as well as a big residential high rise, so there were usually people out on the street. Overall, I'm really happy with our experience at Mitra Lofts and I'll definitely suggest it to friends coming in to town!

Great view, Very clean..If you luv the Gaslamp or Petco this location is great. Parking is tight but never had to park more than a half of block away. When you find a great parking place leave the car and ride the trolley all around the city.

This was a great place to stay. It is close to public transit and walkable to most places in the Gaslamp district, which I loved. It's definitely in an area with a lot of homeless people. Nobody bothered us and I felt fine the whole time. However, if I weren't a guy I'm not sure I'd feel super great walking around in it at night/early AM.

The place is great! Location can't be beat. Very convenient to Gas Lamp and other areas of downtown San Diego. The East Village area is up and coming so there is a lot of new constructions going on and the area where the homeless call home outside is very close. Overall my experience was great. Great place, location and communication. Process was very easy.
