Christine's place at the North end of Gull Lake was absolutely awesome. The house was new and updated & clean (nothing like some musty old lake cabin) with all the amenities of home and the lake right across the street. Has absolutely everything you could want (except maybe a bit more 2nd floor water pressure). The house is decorated very nicely and both Christine & Jeff were a pleasure to deal with. We had only 4 people, but with 3 nice bedrooms upstairs and a futon downstairs, you could comfortably sleep 8+ Was there for a wedding, but if you were a boater would be perfect as it is directly across from the town public boat ramp (+ Neds restaurant & bar is right next door = 2 thumbs up on pizza, burgers, & salads). We also spent a day about a mile up the road at the Gilmore Car Museum. I am not a car nut, but the museum was flat out spectacular. If you ARE a car buff or know someone who is, visiting this museum could be a day or two by itself. The day we were there they had a big car show of Chrysler/Dodge muscle cars on the lawn, in addition to the regular museum exhibits. On the whole, a 5 star experience start to finish!

If you're wanting a place right by the water, this place is perfect. The house is clean and updated, and Christine has it packed with all The necessities. The restaurant next door has great pizza, and a great selection of craft beers. The boat launch is directly across the street, and the rental comes with a pass so you don't have to pay. I highly recommend this place.

Christine's place exceeded expectations. She has tastefully renovated this house and made it feel like a real home. The pictures do not do the space justice. The bedrooms are sunnier and more spacious. Although there was no pack and play or crib for our toddler, it was easy to pull the mattress off the twin frame in the middle bedroom and put it on the floor of the bigger bedroom. Being next door to NEDs was really convenient. It's a busy place and the location is very close to the road so the surroundings are not quiet for those looking for a more secluded spot. However, it was perfect for us. We didn't have a boat, but enjoyed walking across the street to walk out on the dock and use the little slide for play time. We especially enjoyed using the enclosed front porch in the evenings. The front yard is small, but fenced off, so a nice patch of grass for our daughter to run around a bit. The inclusion of beach towels was a great touch that we took advantage of liberally. We had a great stay and appreciate Christine's availability to answer questions.

This house is beautiful and has a great view of the lake. We made great memories this weekend. This is a special place to stay. Christine made us feel right at home and was happy to help with anything we needed.

I have lived in the area for 17 years and in Michigan for much longer. I have moved away, but always come back. Michigan has the greatest summers of anywhere I've been. The fresh water lakes and beaches are my favorite place to be. Traveling is fun, but I love to be home. We have owned this house for several years, but just bought a new one so wanted to share it with vacationers. I have enjoyed trying to think of everything to make sure you have everything you need. Always feel free to let me know if there is anything I've missed!
