Beautiful and comfortable 2 bed/2 bathroom house, 8 mins scooter ride from central ubud. The house has a full kitchen with all pots and pans, cutlery etc to cook if needed, large dining table, hammock and a comfortable outside day bed from where you can look over the temples of the surrounding homes and into the coconut trees beyond. You are in a traditional village; walks are beautiful and interesting, especially in the nearby rice field which is particularly serene at sunset.
This space is minimalist and beautiful with high ceilings, and is very peaceful. You have full privacy, living in a traditional Balinese neighbourhood. Being in a small neighburhood, the place isn't completely silent; roosters will crow in the morning and scooters will pass by, but it is still nonetheless a calm oasis. There is a rice field very close by for walks. 2 large bedrooms with high ceilings, very comfy beds and private ensuites. Spacious kitchen/loungeroom and a large dining table for meals.
You will have access to the whole property. Two bedrooms with semi-outdoor bathrooms, great western style kitchen and garden. It is fully private.
Interaction with guests
You will be left to enjoy your privacy. The owners wife will quietly come and make the morning offering ritual but you probably won't even notice.
Other things to note
I can organise for scooter rental and car pickup service from the airport, just let me know. The town is easy by scooter but not really walkable. The cleaning lady will come 3 times per week.
No smoking inside
This is a vegetarian house, please don't bring meat products inside the house
Please remember to turn off the air con and lights when not in use
Please note: the water for the showers is from a natural bore, so the water can sometimes smell a little sulferous, not at all harmful and nothing to worry about.
