The house is on a quiet corner a few minutes walking distance from the centre of town with bus and train links four and ten minutes walk away. There are neighbouring houses but space around and a small garden to sit in. Walk a few minutes to a pretty loch and extensive woodlands. One of the most beautiful beaches in Scotland is four miles away with views over the Firth to the mountains in the North. Your host is a Nature-loving local who can direct you to the local beauty spots and beyond.
The house is simple, calm, clean, restful and healthy, slightly scruffy, comfortable, welcoming and relaxed
You will have a bed-sitting space and access to the shower toilet, kitchen and garden
Interaction with guests
I will welcome you. Other than some friendly pointers I will mostly leave you to your own devices unless you specifically request and we agree more input. I will want to know you are comfortable and have what you need. I am a Mum of three grown up sons who have travelled and like to imagine hosting travellers as part of a friendly circle.
Other things to note
I am usually in quiet mode by 10p.m. and ask guests not to have alcohol in the house or consume alcohol before arriving
This is a no-alcohol house and you are asked not to come to the house after drinking alcohol. Quiet time after 11pm
I am a 60yr old Mum of three, a therapist, home and garden make. I am interested in and knowledgeable about alternative health. I enjoy people, art and ideas. One of my sons is a dancer, one an artist and one a surfer. We lived in Edinburgh for several years and I love to visit the city but for now that I live in Moray near the beautiful coast here. I would be an easy, friendly, quiet guest usually visiting briefly and on a mission. I offer BnB in my home for people visiting the Findhorn Foundation so I like to host as well as be hosted. I like the freshness of the Archetype of the traveller, even if a tame one!
