Welcome to our new homey hostel where everything is made by us with love and respect to our guests. In order to save the nature as well as the authentic spirit of an old post office building we used aged furniture and the materials that would be recycled otherwise. In other words we gave the old things a second life. We are first of all looking for the new friends and try to treat our visitors accordingly. The aim is to create a cosy and friendly environment so you can feel yourself like home.

The space

You will spend a night in the antique building, which was an administration of Czech post and was built in 1890. Everything you see in the hostel is designed and made by our own hands.

Guest access

The kitchen is fully equipped and you can prepare your favourite food using our dishes, cutlery and spice set. Tea selection and coffee is for free.
Guests also can use clean bed linen, towels, free Wi-Fi, showers and toilets.

Traveling around Europe, this was by far the worst place we stayed. The pictures present a completely different look to the reality. First off, this hostel is on the second floor of an apartment building. The regular tenants in the building are very sketchy, and the place gives the appearance of an Eastern Block slum. The building is filthy, and you have to walk by dumpsters of tenant garbage inside the hallway as you enter through the main door. The hostel floor isn't much better. The furniture throughout is stained, threadbare or falling apart. The bathroom and showers are dirty and unsanitary. The kitchen wasn't too bad, however, the walls are so thin you can hear people talking as if they're in the same room. Our immediate impression was not wanting to sit on the bed or furniture, or put our packs on the floor. And with good reason. Turns out I got bit by bed bugs that night. When we let the manager know, he said it was probably a mosquito. These bites were not from a mosquito, I know the difference. Furthermore, I wrote to Oksana telling her we were going to go elswhere, because we weren't happy with the accommodations, but she never responded. I also requested a refund for the unused nights, but not surprising, she didn't respond to that either. I realize this is a longer review than most, however, when you book accommodations through a reputable site, you expect to get what is advertised. Yes, hostels are an inexpensive way to travel, but that doesn't mean they have to be dirty and unsanitary. And most importantly, unsafe. You also trust that if the guest is not satisfied, the host will try and resolve the complaint. I certainly would not recommend this hostel to anyone.

Okay for one night, but there are better options in Prague for the same price, in my opinion. The smell is awful, and it smells everywhere like cigarettes and dirty kitchen. Inside it's quite creepy and looks like basement. The best things about this accommodation is the location and a breakfast included

It was great, one of the best in Prague for the price. Location is great. (I had only one person in the whole room so maybe that's why) I would recommend.

Great accomodation near Prague's bus station and train station. Walkable distance to go to the old town

Basic hostel just outside the hear of the city. We shared a room with 5 beds and it was nice and cool inside. We stayed for 1 night because we had to catch an early train. Personally I wouldn't stay here for longer then 1 night but that's because I prefer a bit more privacy and sharing a kitchen/bathroom with less people. Overall: good value for money!
