We loved our stay here! Anne and Robert were very kind as well as responsive to our needs. The place is very clean and bright- super cute! The location is great as well- close to everything yet a relatively quiet block with loads of lovely trees. We definitley recommend as a place to stay for a few nights, a week, even a month long holiday visit for a couple. Thanks Anne and Robert!

In total (between two consecutive bookings) we'll have stayed in this flat for 2.5 months straight, and we've had a wonderful time here. The neighborhood is beautiful, with flowers filling the gardens and spilling over on to the sidewalks. There's a Trader Joe's, two Safeways, and a Walgreens all within 10 minutes walk. Coffee shops and eateries are close by too, as is BART and everything else you'll probably want. Whole Foods is a 10 minute drive away, on the way to the freeway, so we went there a bunch too. I spent a lot of time walking in the hills, and it's a simple and pretty quick drive to get to any of the parks lining the ridges. I also walked extensively in the neighborhood and it's parks, and found it very peaceful and pleasant. The houses here really are lovely. The rooms are bright and sunny, with plenty of windows (and blinds). The bed was good, the kitchen well stocked with plates and glasses and knives and so on. In fact we were lucky enough to move in just after the whole unit had been renovated, so the bathroom, kitchen, floors, etc were all shiny and new. Robert and Anne were very attentive, fixing or replacing anything that wasn't quite right, and their cleaners and handymen asked if all was well whenever we saw them. One thing to note is that parking is street only, and limited to 2-hours at a time during the week without a residential permit. We thought about going to city hall and getting some permits, but the cost was a bit too much for us. In the end we just set reminders and moved the cars every 2 hours. There are all-day parking streets a 5-minute drive away, and that's where we left our cars when we wouldn't need them for a few days. Also, for long-term renters, the fridge is an under-the-counter model, smaller that Americans are probably used to. We managed just fine with the smaller space, but it required some adjustment and more frequent trips to the store. We've been living in AirBnBs for about 4 months now and this is by far our favorite. We'll leave with memories of sunny windows, birds sitting on the wires outside, and neighborhood flowers tickling our ankles.

I came to the Bay Area to attend grad school in math at UCB and never left. Taught at SF city college for a while but I currently manage and own property near the UC Berkeley Campus.
Anne, my wife, has an interior design background with a degree from Kwantlen University in British Columbia.
We enjoy hiking and biking in Marin. I also take a French class at the local community college and go to France every summer.
I was born in Argentina and speak Spanish fluently (I wish I could say the same for my French!).
