Everything is great and as was expected. I appreciate the use of the bike with a basket; and the place is in the outskirts, away from backpackers and vehicular pollution, yet one can easily and cheaply go into the city. Highly recommended.

The place is clean and with good light, the host is always reachable to solve any problem or request you may have and is a quiet place very good to rest. There is bikes you can use so is very easy to move and near to the house there is a market with all kind of Thai food very good and cheap. The day I arrive the host pick me from the train station and when we check out he take me to the city where I needed to go. I felt very comfortable save and relax. I totally recommend it.

Em was a great host - very friendly and welcoming and did everything possible to make my stay as good as possible. A great place to get a bit of work done, but not too far out that it's impossible to get into the city.

My stay was lovely here! Em and her partner are great hosts, super friendly and always available to give tips about Chiang Mai or help you with whatever you need. The room is simple but it totally does the job. Very clean, with fan, closet, private bathroom with hot water shower. And a small balcony which I loved. On the ground floor there's a very nice outside common area with tables and sofas where you can chillout or do some work in your laptop, with fans and power outlets all around. Great if you're a digital nomad and don't want to pay fortunes for the fancy co-working places in Chiang Mai. There's a kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own breakfast, fridge, toster, water boiler and free coffee and tea. The place is a bit outside the center (10-15min to the old city) which is perfect to get away from the noisy traffic of Chiang Mai. Not only that, it's a local neighborhood which lets you to experience the real Thailand. The locals always smile and are very friendly. WiFi is super fast too! Great value for money! I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Thailand.

Em was very nice, and her English is very good. As a local, of course she knows all the tips for where and what in Chiang Mai, especially the markets and local eateries. Em arranged for the bus to pick me up and drop me off after the tour of the Mae Tang Elephant Sanctuary and the Tiger Park. It is further from town than I have stayed before, but it was also quiet and peaceful when I had enough of the crowd. Nice little balcony for a few drinks. Graeme and Em do not intrude, but are there if you want company. There is a free bicycle, or you can hire a scooter. I prefer to walk. The 7/11 is about 10 minutes away, or longer if you stop for a beer and a meal. You have to go out for the night life. Not a big room, but as I was out and about it didn't worry me. Typical firm Asian mattress. Cheap for a room with private bathroom. I didn't need the portable air-con. Fan was enough. I would stay again.

I am a Thai person, born in Chiang Mai so I know the area very well. I think Thailand is a lovely Country with so much to offer and I enjoy meeting people and trying to help them get the best from their visit. I love cooking, and especially eating. Thailand has so many delicious foods but be careful, some are very spicy. I work hard and try to create the standards that visitors are used to in their own countries but don't worry, still with a splash of Thai.
I have an Australian partner and he helps (or hinders) a little. He also speaks pretty reasonable English (though with a strange accent) so between us we want to make your holiday one to remember (in a good way)
