Access to wonderful upstairs open kitchen, dining area, and spacious deck with incredible views. Enjoy your breakfast looking out over the rolling Sandia Mountains, enjoy your dinner as the sun sets and the amazing ‘Land of Enchantment' star-gazing begins.

Breathe in the crystal clear, fresh New Mexico air as you walk the 2.5 acre property, or really stretch your legs and lungs (the Ranch sits at 7000 feet) as you hike the ultra-scenic hiking trails that crisscross thousands of acres in the Cibola National Forest just steps from the Ranch's front door. Twenty minutes more and you can be skiing at Sandia Peak Ski Resort. Or just sit on the deck and relax as you soak up the fantastic year-round weather and views.

It's four minutes drive to the heart of Cedar Crest village with restaurants, grocery store, nail and beauty salons, gym, espresso / coffee bars, apothecary, post office, auto repair, etc. Or enjoy local attractions like the amazing little Tinker Town Museum, or riding stables.

Go a bit further into Albuquerque to visit:
-Historic Old Town Plaza, San Felipe Church (1600's), shopping – 20 minutes
-The world's longest Tramway – 20 minutes
-The International Balloon Festival (every October) – 25 minutes
-Numerous casinos – 30 to 60 minutes

Drive, or bike (bring your motorcycle if you have one) one of the truly scenic highways in the world, the Turquoise Trail (Highway 14), north through the historic towns of Golden, Madrid (where they filmed WILD HOGS) and Cerrillos, and arrive in the town square of stunning Santa Fe 55 minutes later. From there it's only 20 minutes more to incredible skiing at Santa Fe Mountain resort. Or continue on to Taos Ski Valley or Angel Fire (2 hours), or a bit further still (3 hours) to Wolf Creek or Durango, Colorado. The drive is breathtaking.

And every so often Hollywood comes to our home to shoot a movie. Who knows, maybe you'll see a star. And we guarantee you'll see millions from of them at night!

Airport service is available upon request at $25 one way for two people, $40 for four people.

Consider this your home. Make your own meals with what is provided, buy food at the local stores and express your gourmet skills in the kitchen. The kitchen is a common space, so just treat it responsibly.

We are responsible, respectful human beings, and we simply ask the same of our guests. That, and to truly enjoy the amazingly beautiful surroundings. While we invite our guests to enjoy our great views from the upstairs deck, and the patio, pond and waterfalls in back, we would prefer they take advantage of one of the local, or in-town, eateries for all of their meals, except for a nice continental-style breakfast in the morning. There's nothing quite like sitting on our upstairs deck overlooking the Sandia mountain range first thing in the morning with a steaming cup of espresso in hand, or enjoying a late night glass of wine in the same location, or around our pond and waterfall, a fire roaring in the fire pit.

The Halls were wonderful hosts and helped save our vacation. My best friend and I had our first chance to go on spring break with the kids in ten years (our kids never have the same week off). Our plans fell through the night before the trip and we looked for an alternative. Then the weather cancelled the alternative. Price and Juli were able to make our reservation as we were driving to New Mexico. They were kind and helpful and welcoming. Their house is gorgeous and the kids had a great time playing in the snow. Thank you for saving the day!!

Response from Price & Juli:
Oooops Misty! Totally forgot about that. Just started keeping it there right before leaving on our last trip. We normally do not have people staying in our master, so it just didn't cross my mind. So, my apologies, and I will lock it away in a safe place henceforward. Price

Price and Julie were great people to be around with. They were very helpful in finding a great authentic mexican restaurant. The food was awesome. The place was BEAUTIFUL with lots of room. They had a nice continental breakfast for us which included fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, cereal and bread. They have a wonderful dog name martini who welcomed us with lots of love. I personally want to thank Price and Julie for everything they did for us and look forward to coming back again anytime we come through albuquerque, NM. again.

Julie and Price were extremely gracious hosts. Very personable, helpful and knowledgeable of the area and things for us to do. The short amount of time we were there to visit with them we really enjoyed. Thank you Julie and Price for welcoming us in your home.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at our temporary home in the East Mountain!  This was only our second time staying in an AirBnb home and we were blown away at the quality of the accommodations.  We had the entire first floor of the house practically to ourselves. Our bedroom, bath, and sitting area were private and quiet, but we were also able to access the main kitchen and drink our coffee on the fabulous deck overlooking the mountains.   The East Mountains is one of our favorite parts of Albuquerque, but we usually stay in a hotel in town when we visit because there aren't many hotels east of the Sandias.  I'm so glad we thought to check out AirBnb!  We had a beautiful space, starry nights, and quiet, all for significantly less than we would have paid for an average hotel room in Albuquerque.  Price is a wonderful host and we've already told him that he's our first choice for lodging next time we're in town.  We also told him he should raise his rates!  We visited during Balloon Fiesta (and paid justifiably higher rates) and it still seemed like a steal compared to what we usually pay in town.  We will definitely be back!
