Our home is located in the Bronze Coast of Alamea within walking distance of the SouthShore Shopping Center (groceries, retail and food); the Beach, and the Park Street Disctrict (Alameda Theatre & Cineplex, retail and food). You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the neighborhood, the comfy bed, the kitchen, and the light. Our place is good for solo adventurers, digital nomads, and business travelers.

The space

The Lake Room is a spacious room with a queen bed, lots of windows and high ceilings.

Guest access

(1) Shared Kitchen and Bathrooms. (2) Access to The Island Room (an area to socialize with others in the apartment) (3) Access to rear deck and yard.

CJ's place was really cool! It gave me more of a hostel vibe than a typical Airbnb, but not in a bad way at all! Just know that there are 4-5 other rooms in the house that will be sharing 2-3 bathrooms. I liked how big my room was and the house itself is really warm, inviting, and full of pretty light. The neighborhood seems safe and friendly too. It was super easy to check in and out. I recommend it if you want a nice play to stay outside of the city.

The room was just as expected - cozy, clean, and moderately spacious. It's a convenient location within Alameda too. Thank you!

This Alameda Lake Room was a A rare highly valuable find. The location the privacy and the enormous space of the Room itself could go for a lot higher price than what I paid. I feel like I got a bargain. Beautiful hardwood floors clean bed, private refrigerator, clean bathroom, private very quiet. My highlighy was the lovely sun patio, being able to relax outside I get a suntan in the beautiful Alameda sun.

This was the best Airbnb experience we've had to date. Cj and Dash were so nice. The room was spacious, clean and had amazing light. The robes, towels, pillows and candles were romantic and a great touch. The bathroom had everything we needed and had a large bathtub. The kitchen was very accommodating and clean. The neighborhood was nice and close to Bart and lots of groceries and restaurants. We loved our stay and relaxed all week. I'm definitely recommending this place to my friends and family.

About Me...

I work hard and play harder.....that is my life motto. Love camping, reading and travel. My dream job is hosting a show like Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown and Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive Ins and Dives.... hmmm... throw in a refurbished tiny home, mid-sized bus.. and I would be in heaven. I need to make this happen some-how. For my employers... no worries.... I can teach and consult remotely.. I promise!

I was born and raised in Oakland but have lived in NY, LA, Oklahoma (long story!!) and Boston (fun story!). Now living in Alameda -- which is a great town that is close enough to the action but I can get away and re-energize here.

I am pretty laid back.. I do not hover but am available if you need me. If you want to hang out and see the town...ask me, I know all the good spots.

Five things I can't live without -- my daughter, music/dancing, books, taco trucks and road trips (yes.. I know that is 6... but you can't have music without dancing.. right?).

I look forward to meeting you... and if we miss each other.. enjoy your stay! If there is anything you need... just let me know.

Relax and Enjoy.
