This cosy single room has a retro feel with feature wallpaper and matching upcycled chest of drawers. The drop leaf table can be folded away and there is room for you to hang clothes and put stuff in drawers. We are happy to share our living and cooking spaces with guests and we provide a continental style breakfast. Free on street parking and convenient for Sheffield city centre. We have a friendly tabby cat Mog and older children who often visit. We love Sheffield: let us share it with you!
I am a keen upcycler so you will find quirky touches around the house such as plants in old Doc Martin boots and photo collaged walls. We renovated the whole house in summer 2016, including new windows, wiring and central heating, so it is cosy and well looked after.
Your room is on the first floor next to the bathroom, which has a good shower and bath. You are welcome to join us in the living room and kitchen, where we can light the wood burning stove on chilly days. Feel free to cook, or share food with us. We have a small garden with two seating areas which you're also very welcome to use.
Interaction with guests
We are very happy to tell you about our city and The Secret Room has leaflets about some of the local events and attractions. We're pretty well informed about what's happening in Sheffield, good places to eat and interesting places to shop. We may not be around for the whole of your stay, but please call us if you need anything!
Other things to note
We have a friendly tabby cat called Mog who shares our communal areas. Our teenage/twenties children may sometimes visit during your stay and we're happy to share food with you if the times coincide.
