The top floor of an old Victorian, this apartment is moments away from Franklin Park, Green Street "T" stop, and Jamaica Plain center. One bedroom, full, spacious bath, washer and dryer, plus a small backyard, make this a lovely spring location.

My pets will be gone while you stay here, but this is usually home to one small dog and a cat (in case you're allergic).

I won't be around while you stay in my apartment, but my wonderful friend Julie will take care of any concerns you may have.

This was a great place to stay. It was in a pretty residential area with only a 5 minute walk to the orange line. From there it was about 20 minutes to downtown and all the connections. The unit was quiet and had everything you needed. It was spacious and sunny as advertised. We always felt safe walking around and it turned out we were only about a 15 minute walk to the Sam Adams brewery. There was a pub and small market close by but a good 20 minute walk to an area with lots of restaurants. There was no parking on the street due to some workmen leaving there trucks permanently parked out front but there was no problem getting a parking spot on the streets around the unit. Just watch out for the street cleaning days. Our host for the week was incredible. She answered every question we had within minutes, including recommendations for everything. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Lovely, cute apartment!! Literally right next to the orange line (6 min walk, ~3 blocks) and perfect for getting around in Boston. Checking in was quick and straightforward. Julia & Julie were very quick to reply about any questions and that communication is exactly what you hope for in your host.

Julia and Julie were great. They were in touch and we could communicate any of our needs. The house is a 5-min walk from the nearest T-line and walking distance from the Sam Adams brewery. It's a private apartment on the third floor and good value for your money. Just make sure if you're allergic to animals, to bring some tablets. Owner has cats/pets and there's quite a bit of hair everywhere.

Response from Julia:
Alex, I'm sorry that you had problems with allergies during your stay. It's true that there's a cat tower and dog kennel and several toys that remain in the space and would have animal dander and fur. We appreciate your honest review.

A lover of pets, cooking, and getting to know people and the different ways we all think; though our experiences vary greatly I think we are more similar than we would expect at first glance. I enjoy getting to know the nuances of life and hope most experiences include food in some form or another.
