Nice place with good amount of space. Close to a great restaurant and a corner store. Not super private since you are on the main floor with lots of windows.

Victoria's place is great. It was just as we hoped for; clean, great space, easy check in/out, beautiful location. We only spent a couple nights, but it was a perfect home base as we explored the north and west side of Big Island.

My wife and I stayed here after seeing the sunset and stars from the Mauna Kea Visitor Information Station (helpful hint: go during a new moon (ours was almost full)) and before heading to Waipio Valley. We arrived late and got on the road early but had a good night’s sleep. The place was pretty large. We would recommend it for couples traveling a similar route.

This stay was perfect for the first part of our trip. With three people in one room it was a little cozy but it worked well for my parents and I. There are plenty of grocery and beach options nearby. The kitchen is simple but again, with some planning it suited our needs very nicely.

Victoria was an amazing host. Very thoughtful with nice details (fruit, coffee, hair products, aloe for sunburns). The studio itself is charming, spacious and clean. The private deck was nice to enjoy coffee on in the morning. The bathroom is great. I took advantage of both the shower and the claw footed tub (the tub was great after summiting Mauna kea). Great location in waimea and close to lots of great things to see and do. Will definitely stay again there if back on the island.

I grew up on the Big Island with Swedish parents, that decided Hawaii was as far away they could get from the Swedish winters. Growing up on the Hamakua Coast was a very exciting childhood playing in the waterfalls, catching prawns and picking fruit wherever available, swinging from vines and loving the casual and simplistic lifestyle. I am thrilled to meet people from various places and envy that they get to travel!
I welcome you to the Big Island, land of 23 different subclimates, from volcanoes to tropical rainforests, beaches and snow capped mountains, so much to offer. Hope you enjoy your stay :)
