Beautiful secluded cottage in a lovely quiet location. We used it as a base for the F1 (a 1hr drive) and it was a perfect place to chill out after a busy race day. Great comms, easy check-in, just what was needed. Thank you to Patrick and his family :)

The guesthouse has an excellent, calm location and it is fully equipped for basic needs. The area itself was perfect for our small group, who was travelling with a dog. The house has a nice yard for the furry guests and there is multiple rivers and trails to visit nearby.

Patrick and his Mom were wonderful and very hospitable. The cottage was just great and the fireplace was the cherry on top. Patrick's Mom had the fire going when we arrived and a wonderful pumpkin soup waiting for us. We can wholeheartedly recommend a stay here. It is a nice cottage in a great little town. Definitely visit the bakery and butcher!

We had a perfect stay at Patrick's! Everything was charming: the village, the landscapes, the cottage, the hosting and everything else. We gladly recommend it and definitely wish to come back a.s.a.p..

Patrick's cottage was a great stay: Patrick was very welcoming, even though we only actually met him on the last day, the soup was lovely and the facilities in the cottage were very good. Even though the cottage is in the back garden of Patrick's mother's house there is more than sufficiënt privacy and a lovely outside area. The only downsides to the stay were that the cottage is quite small: officially it sleept four, however, the actual living and kitchen area is about 16-20m2, with a couch that will only sit two and a small kitchen table. Also it is not possible to stand upright in the upstairs bedroom. For two people this cottage would be perfect! Also, for the price it is I think the cottage is good value. Facilities in the village are good (supermarket, butcher, bakery), the surroundings are beautiful. Walking routes start from the village and it is not far to arena's were you can hire mountainbikes or kayaks etc. All in all a lovely stay with a lovely host!

This is a great place if you fancy a peaceful hiking getaway in the nature. Patrick sent us a very clear email with all the needed information, and his mother was there to receive us and show us around. The house is very cozy, it has a great fire place and the kitchen is very well equipped. The garden is also very nice and big (our dog loved it!), although we thought from the photo it was by a river or lake, but it is actually a very small pond in the owner's garden... Overall we were happy with our stay and would love to go back someday!

The fire was burning, a soup ready - perfect on a grey, rainy fall day as we had when we arrived! The sweet, really fantastically working stove turned the whole stay, despite really ugly weather, into a cosy and relaxed, quiet time. St. Hubert and its homemade beer in the hotel de l'abbaye are definitely a worthy advice and we're hoping to return to belgium in a less troubled and weather-wise favorable time!
