Perfect, surprising, magical. The place breathes history. An ancient house with love and impeccable taste restored by Marina and her family. Stunning olive grove, vineyard, orange trees and views of the sea and mountains. The description of the house, the pictures do not convey the beauty that you will see. Concerning comfort, everything corresponded to the description. My husband and I lived in a smaller house on the first floor. Our room was cool and comfortable. We used the kitchen in the main house, we cooked the fish on the grill, which is on the open terrace. Lunched and had supper enjoying the view of the sea and the mountains with the main terrace in the shade of a very old olive tree. The Internet was always working well and without interruptions. The road to the house is surrounded by olive trees, cypresses are comfortable both for movement on motobike and on a small car. It is very nice to walk to the main road in the early morning, but it's hard to get up in the heat. If you have a little experience of driving on winding roads, be careful and do not exceed the speed. Marina and her daughter are very hospitable and attentive hosts. Separate words deserve the best in the world dog Max-сlever, kind and very affectionate. We are very grateful to Marina and her daughter for unforgettable rest and wonderful communication. We really hope to visit these amazing people more than once.

We spent 3 wonderful days at Marina's olive mill. The settings are incredible : you're literally in a multi-centenary olive tree forest ; the view on all the island is just breathtaking, it's impossible to get bored of it. The house is beautifully renovated, it has a big terrace were you can relax and have dinner, enjoying the view on the bay. So the way to the house is steep, but it's worth it a million times ! The bedroom is very nice, quite cool even in summer, the bed is really comfortable ; the bathroom is shared, but we were not bothered by it. Marina is absolutely charming, easy to talk with, and she will happily share with you her passion for good food, olive tree farming and well-being. We would totally go there again !

This is an fantastic house, and a special one too. This is definitely not your bread and butter airbnb rental. You are going to tell your friends about it about a milestone in your trip, rather than just a place you stayed in. It consists of two buildings. It looks like a cross between a British country manor and an tiny fortified palace, for lack of a better description. It's made of big stones, it has a stone porch to with breathtaking views of the olive orchards down to the coast. There's a garden with vines, trees... Inside, everything is being renewed with taste. The furniture and appliances are kind of country-chic (rustic upmarket), wooden floors, fast internet in the higher building (almost no signal in the lower one, although Marina was looking into it)... It has several rooms, a couple with really nice views, but a couple of flights of steps and another in the lower building, which as far as I was told has the only bathroom. The kitchen is a proper kitchen with a large fridge, gas hob and oven, there's a yoga room... The place was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower worked and had hot water. There's a washing machine that is new. In general, it's a really nice place. The one issue one may want to consider is access. It's at the top of a mountain (hence the unbelievable views). The driving is up a mountain road with hairpin turns. Then, there's a last bit within the grounds with quite steep paths, until you get to a place where the tarmac ends, and the last few road turns are better done on foot. At night, you either need a torch or a bright moon for that last stretch (the house itself has plenty of outdoors lighting). At first I was quite frankly a bit concerned about access (I have some mobility issues), but in the end it was fine. You get used to the road, just drive slowly. And there are works for those last stretches you walk now, so eventually you'll be able to drive to the door. In terms of the hostess, Marina, she was away, and Jimmy, a caretaker, welcomed me. His car broke down, so I had to pick him up. But other than that hiccups, he was helpful getting me to the place, with baggage, explaining where everything was, and with advice on where to eat. Marina was very responsive and quick with email/text, was very accommodating, cheerful, helpful, and in general a nice person to talk to. To sum up, I'm looking forward to going back.

Thank you so much Ramon for a nice reviuw, it warms my heart. A big part of my heart belongs to that place. You description is very accurat and well written. It is a special place, like you are back 200 years in one way and not when it comes to modern stuff like internett and electricity and so. You have to be quite fit to get up there. You are most welcome back! Next time I`ll be there and the road will be ready. All the best to you!
