This cute Colorado cabin feels like it's tucked away in the mountains even though it's at a great location in town. Walking distance to 2 great breweries, bike lane that takes you into Cheyenne Canyon, and wildlife wanders into the yard to say hi! If you're looking for an authentic Colorado experience, but still want to stay in town, this is it. Nearby: rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, waterfalls, zoo, distilleries, downtown, and the interstate! PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BOOKING!
This cabin is full of character. It was built in 1920 and was obviously made for someone who is not very tall. That being said, if you are a taller individual you might feel kinda scrunched. The shower is especially short (raised clawfoot tub + short ceilings = short shower) but the bathtub is lovely to use. My husband and I lived here for over a year and showered every day with no problem. The detachable shower head makes it great. If a short shower is an issue for anyone in your group, I would not recommend staying here. If you want to give it less than a 5-star rating just because of this, please don't book this listing :)
Please enjoy all of the space! There is a ton of parking in the front and you can also park on the street. There's a fenced backyard. If you have pets, make sure both gates are closed before letting your pups run around back there. We don't keep trash cans outside of the house because there are neighborhood BEARS, so please let me know if you need a trash pick up before checkout and I'll be happy to come pick it up. You should make sure to keep all food and trash indoors. If you have bikes, please park them inside of the cabin (the mud room is great for this). And please make sure you don't leave any valuables in your car.

Please text my personal cell if you need anything at all.
Other things to note
The old clawfoot tub is wonderful for soaking in. The switch to the garbage disposal is under the sink. If you need additional trash pick up, please let me know and I'll take care of that for you.
- Please don't try to pet the neighbor dogs (they're rescues and are easily stressed out)
- Smoking outside only
-Open and close car doors quietly after dark
- No fires in the fireplace (chimney is in need of repair)

Hi there! My name is Brittany and I'm a business owner, teacher, artist and animal lover in Colorado Springs. I've lived all over Colorado but I've really fallen in love with everything "the Springs" has to offer. My husband, Nick and I started a transportation company that brings people to the ski resorts, or the breweries, or up Pikes Peak or just into the mountains. We love our little business! It's called Rocky Mountain Ride (ask me for a free t-shirt or pint glass!) and we're in our 3rd year. We just started offering concert shuttles to Red Rocks Amphitheater, which is super exciting for us. I also teach art classes and Sunday School class and walk/sit dogs. It's a pretty awesome life. When I'm not busy with work you can catch me at any one of the local breweries enjoying some nice IPAs and hanging with my 7 year old Weimaraner, Toby. If you need suggestions for things to do in the Pikes Peak region, I'm the person to ask! I love hosting an I want to make sure your stay is amazing!!
