Great space. Pool and rooms were lovely. Away from noise and crowds. We were really sad to leave. Highly recommend.

What an incredible place Linda has ! Family of 4 ( kids 15 and 7) we all had the most amazing time staying here. Thoughtful design and decor throughout. It's very quiet , only the varied wildlife to hear. It's about a 10minute tuktuk into Galle, 5mins to Unawatuna. This can be arranged along with practically anything else you might need during your stay by Upul and Jagart - the most amazing, friendly and helpful 2 guys going. We didn't walk in the paddy fields behind the property, not advisable in flip flops (mosquitoes and snakes). A truly idyllic spot and wish we could've stayed longer than the 3days booked.

Me and my family had a wonderful stay at the paddy view villa. The pictures do not do the place justice - it's beautiful! The villa is in a secluded area next to a rice paddy, so a very quite and relaxing environment but easily accessible to the town via a 10 minute tuk tuk. Jagarth and Upul that work on the property are fabulous hosts. They are very friendly and are ready at attend to your every need. Upul arranged all of our transportation and trips without any problems. We also had the pleasure of sampling his amazing food! He even went so far to extend an invitation to his family home to celebrate his sons birthday party. The hospitality offered was exceptional and we are so thankful for such a pleasant stay.

Upon arrival late at night, a very tasty home cooked dinner was ready and served on the veranda. After a good night's rest we woke up to the sounds of nature, looking into the garden and to the fields beyond, where peacocks, monkeys, squirrels, lizards and a tortoise roamed. We enjoyed fresh fruit each day, and a lovely meal prepared by the house's cook. He can cook up anything, restaurant style but much better than what you would get at the beachfront. The kitchen is extremely clean and well kept, as are the two adjacent bedrooms, spacious bathrooms and the pool. The veranda was fenced off for our toddler boy. The lush and huge garden is the real hidden gem, as we never wanted to leave and go to the nearby beaches (only 10 minutes by tuk-tuk). The fragrance of frangipani trees around you is just heaven. We went out for day trips in the mornings and spent the rest of the day around the pool, reading and lazing in the sunshine. Wifi was slow at times, but we did not mind. Linda, the owner, was very easy to talk to and very responsive, and her two housekeepers/cooks on site were friendly, proactive and discrete. What an amazing place.

What a fantastic place! Beautiful location, convenient to Unawatuna and Galle. We were so well looked after by Upul and Jagath. The garden is amazing with a variety of birds and wildlife visiting every day. We would love to return one day!

The property is located just outside of the Galle fort but easily accessible with tuk tuk. We were glad to have stayed inland in a quieter area instead of by the beach. Linda's house is wonderful and the description is accurate. We were welcomed by Jagath and Upul who helped us with all our needs. From cooking delicious meals (we had fresh bread, wonderful curries and even pasta for our little gal) to the laundry and also starting up the generator when power cuts occurred. The pool was probably the highlight. Its shaded from the sun in the late afternoon and the water is extremely warm, a great way to laze in the water and away from the heat. The wildlife in the garden was rich and the peacocks were so beautiful. A great way to enjoy some of Sri Lanka's most beautiful birds is just to sit by the swing and watch them fly by! We will be back!

Linda's house was amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. Wildlife everywhere including some resident peacocks! She was quick to reply to any query and the welcome pack was very helpful. Upul and his team were fantastic. They took great care of us and cooked us some delicious local dishes. It's a little hard to find but could not recommend this place more.
