Josh's home is a good size in a good location for a great price, including recent upgrades to the kitchen and master bath. However, Josh seems like he's not quite ready to host guests. Trash cans were overflowing, dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher, bathroom counters were covered in dust and hair, and we had to find old, tattered towels in Josh's clothes closest. It made us wonder if the sheets had even been changed. Josh clearly lives in the home full time and while it's possible Josh is still getting the home ready to host, at a bare minimum he should remove trash and wipe down the counters so guests don't feel like they're crashing at someone's home. We've stayed in a dozen AirBnB rentals around the country and never have they not been fully prepared for guests. If you want a nice home and neighborhood for a great price and don't mind dropping straight into someone's living space, then this is a great option. Pluses included air conditioning, a huge TV with many channels, good wifi and a nicely remodeled master bathroom. The kitchen was pretty poorly stocked but adequate (no coffee maker, which might be a deal breaker for some!). If Josh gets the place better prepared, this would be a great AirBnB, but until then we wouldn't stay again.
