This spacious room is located in a 2-bedroom apartment, shared with a PhD candidate at Columbia. He is often in his room or studying on campus, so you will often have the apartment just for yourself. The apartment is very accessible and located in a safe and quiet grad student neighborhood (see below). 15 minutes to Central Park. Hablo español. Je parlais français.

The space

The room is very spacious and gets a lot of natural light. Please notice that the bed in the first picture has been relocated and I have replaced it with the comfy sofa bed you can see in picture #2. The sofa bed can comfortably fit 2 adults, and there's an additional twin-size inflatable bed.

Guest access

You will have full access to the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom, and the laundry room in the basement of the building.

Interaction with guests

I have a flexible schedule, so I will be available to answer any questions/help in any way. Hablo español! Je parle français!

I'm a philosophy PhD student at Columbia University. I enjoy hosting people from around the world and helping them have a good time in New York. I love talking about philosophy, history and world politics. I'm also a foodie, so I can give you recommendations if you want to try the diverse culinary offerings of NYC!
