The apartment occupies a commanding position above St. Ives town centre, with perhaps some of the best views of the town, harbour and across the bay to Godrevy lighthouse. In just a few short steps you will find yourself in the bustling main streets of St. Ives, a few steps more and there are four golden sandy beaches available, one with the coveted blue flag award. The apartment has been decorated and furnished in a modern style to a high standard and are fully equipped.

The space

This large, light and spacious apartment comfortably sleeps 6 adults (with a sofa bed in the lounge that can sleep a further 2 people) that should contain everything you need for a great stay.
The master bedroom with en-suite double bedrooms with double beds. There is a family bathroom with bath and shower over. The kitchen is very spacious with room to sit and have your breakfast in there too. The town and beaches are less than 5 minutes walk and the sea and harbour views from the apartment are outstanding! There is quite a downhill walk into town, but there is a less steep, more "pushchair friendly" walk too.

Guest access

You are renting the whole apartment so everything is there for your comfort and enjoyment.
Outside, there is a private decked area, along with a shared area suitable for hanging out washing, and leaving surfboards and wetsuits.

Interaction with guests

Whilst I can't be there in person all the time, there is a housekeeper that lives on the premises so if there are any issues or just general questions, someone is always on hand to help out.

Other things to note

A £100 damages deposit is also managed by AirBnB and will be deducted against if there is any loss, damage, exceptional cleaning requirements, or where it is clear that guests have been smoking.

Bookings between June to Sept are only accepted for Saturday to Saturday.

Jon was a great host. We had a fantastic time at this wonderful apartment! The views were amazing, 10 min walk to Porthminster beach and a short walk to the town centre. We would definitely recommend it!

Great apartment, very clean, superb location. 10 minutes walking from the St Ives harbour. Porthminster beach is literally few minutes walking with children down the road. The kitchen has all you could possibly need on holiday. The view from the apartment are absolutely amazing is like watching a postcard all the time. Additionally there is a small outdoor space on the back which is great do leave wetsuit, body board and surf after a long day on the beach. I definitely recommend this property.

Apartment is in a superb location - stunning vista. All v comfortable - amazing welcome pack - well equipped. Loved our little apartment - felt like home. Central to everything - as long as you don't mind a few steps and slopes (great exercise!) then it makes for a smashing holiday.

The apartment is very centrally located, walking distance to everywhere and everything you need. It is literally less than 5 minutes to the centre and max 10 mins to all the beaches with gorgeous Cornwall cottages to walk past on route . You can't park at the apartment much like everywhere in St Ives but there is a public car park on the same road and you can pay for the week by card. It was £47 for us so not bad for the week. Firstly we can't say enough about our host Jon. He was so accommodating on every level and nothing was too much trouble. He was in touch via mobile and happened to be renovating the flat downstairs the week we were there. He really is a lovely host and we would go back just because he was so kind to us. After a good climb upstairs (if you can't do stairs probably not the place for you .....but I was 7 months pregnant and they were ok for me) you arrive in a very good sized apartment. There was everything we could need including beach stuff. The only slight criticism is some of the furniture needed updating but Jon informed us he was doing this and in fact a lovely new sofa arrived whilst we were there. It really is a lovely place to stay. We can't recommend enough- great location, good size, lovely host.
