I had a great experience. I arrived extremely late in town for a conference and he was accommodating and made it very easy to get it at that hour. The place is in an awesome location.

Kieran's place is very cool and its location is amazing. Right in the heart of Society Hill, a reasonable walk to Independence Hall and within a block of all the eating and drinking options you could want. There's even a CVS pharmacy and a WaWa convenience store right nearby. Pine St. is reasonably quiet. As Kieran says, it is 3 flights of stairs, so make sure you're up for that. Also, A/C is in the bedroom only. There was a wonderful antique flea market on Saturday and a farmers market on Sunday during our stay. Breakfasts at the South Street Diner can be a great deal (4.50 for 2 eggs, hash browns, and toast). There's a nice bookstore down the street (Head House Books) and not too far from a Dunkin Donuts and many other quick options to grab a bite on South Street. Also excellent sit-down restaurants and taverns in abundance. Parking can be tough on the street, but there is a garage on Lombard right around the corner. 25 per 24 hours. Kieran was good enough to provide us with a 1-day street parking pass, which we were able to use on Saturday, and apparently Sunday is fine in front of the residences (though I did see parking enforcement happening outside the Market on Sunday). Enjoy the historic district and all it has to offer!

The experience we had in Kieran's place is beyond words! It would be simple to just RAVE about the central location... You have the opportunity to take advantage of the best of historic Philadelphia, while being just as close to taking either taking advantage of the liveliness of South Street OR strolling down to Penn's Landing and enjoying Harbor Park. However, simply focusing on the location would undermine the accolades the apartment deserves. The space is deceptively large -- with a spare room space that allows you to feel free to breathe in the space. The bedroom is large and open with an extremely comfortable bed, and the living room sits two large "love seats" that allow people to sit without feeling crowded... On top of that, the windows open up to a great view of Historic Philadelphia (side note: we were able to watch the fireworks show on the Riverfront from a love seat drinking a glass of wine). While we thoroughly enjoyed everything about the space, there are two things another AirBNB'er should keep in mind... First... The space is on the 4th floor, and you will need to navigate stairs. While this was something that was fine with me, I could see some travelers seeing this as a challenge. Additionally, it was a concern of mine that we were creating noise while taking in items for our stay, because of taking items up the steps. Second... The water does take a little bit to warm up. Once it does however, it has GREAT staying power -- as we never lost hot water. Bottom line, Kieran's place is HIGHLY recommended by both of us. It is actually our hope that we were deserving enough guests for how wonderful the space was.

The location was perfect, central yet quiet. The apartment is in perfect condition and is completely independent. Everything we could want was available. And all was in mint condition. The towels, bed sheets and furniture were all sumptuous. Finally, Kieran was the best. Always helpful, with great suggestions on activities, very friendly and yet discrete. Thank you Kieran.
