Class little cottage. Pictures don't do it justice, clean and stylish. Great hospitality from the hosts. Fantastic stove made it really comfortable and cosy. Plenty of room for family of 2+2 for a relaxing weekend. Thanks folks!

An absolutely lovely cottage with all amenities. We loved the thick walls with deep windowsills - perfect for an eight year old to sit at to read and draw. There were loads of little personal touches, which made our break that bit more special. There was ample safe parking and the cottage really lived up to its name. It was SNUG.

Such a gorgeous little cottage, perfect for an overnight stay or a cosy weekend away from the city. We didn't get time to boot up the fire but would say you could get very warm and comfortable and loose track of time here. The bathroom was top notch with plenty of hot water. Great parking too. Would stay here again for sure - we loved it. Sheena is very good at communicating too meaning we didn't have any troubles checking in.

Sheena (and Oliver) went above and beyond in making us feel welcome, including alerting us to an equinox sunrise over the ruins and providing some peet for the wood stove so we could experience a bit of Ireland's past. Their cottageis both quaint and comfortable and they are gracious hosts.

We had a perfect stay while attending a wedding at nearby Clonabreany House. Sheena was so welcoming on our arrival! She had left some snacks for us which were greatly appreciated at check in. The cottage was great, lovely decor and homely feel. We would have happily stayed more than just one night!

Sheena's cottage is a great place to stay if you are looking for a lovely little place in idyllic countryside. It has everything that a family would want in a base to go and explore the area around Oldcastle, or indeed the rest of Ireland. Would return in a heartbeat!
