New to the Airbnb market for May 2017. Freshly renovated, large, luxury one bedroom apartment that sleeps two. Very close to Siemens and The Spire Manchester Hospital. Walking distance from all the Burton Road restaurants and bars including Alberts, The Woodstock and many more.

The space

Formally a Victorian stable hayloft, Oaker Chase in West Didsbury was newly refurbished in 2017 to offer our guests luxury, privacy and comfort in a quiet location, tucked away yet near to all West Didsbury has to offer. Less than twenty seconds stroll to the beautiful river Mersey overlooking the golf course.

Oaker Chase has it’s own external entrance on the first floor with private south-west facing terrace. The apartment itself is large and airy being 650 square foot (60 square metres) with it’s own workstation designed with the business traveler in mind.

The kitchen is fitted with a fridge-freezer, oven, hob, washing machine, coffee maker and butchers block island. The 3 piece bathroom is equipped with a large shower with body jets. To add to your comfort we have installed a smart TV with Netfix and Freeview. There are no shared amenities, everything in the loft is for the exclusive usage of our guests.

The bedroom includes a double bed with closet and a chest of drawers.

Road parking outside is plentiful as it's a very quiet road.

Interaction with guests

Although our guests privacy is of the upmost importance to us we are generally available to assist if required.

Although no parking is available on the property itself road parking outside is plentiful.

This luxury apartment is designed for a maximum of 2 people only so strictly no groups, parties or events.

We are flexible with check-in, all we ask is that if it is outside of the 3pm-7pm timescale you kindly let us know.

Please bear in mind that this is 150 year old former hayloft full of character however some doorways may be lower than normal. Please also bear in mind that it is on the first floor so may not be suitable for infants and anyone with access issues.

This is a quiet residential nook in West Didsbury so we expect guests to be respectful of the surrounding neighbours.

Smoking is allowed on the outside terrace only, cigarette disposal will be provided but an extra cleaning fee of £85 will be charged if anyone smokes inside.

We live adjacent to the loft although you will have complete privacy this enables us to be flexible and to easily assist with restaurant bookings, and local information should you require anything.

We are from the UK and run a property development company in South Manchester. We appreciate great food and wine and especially love New York and spend as much time as we can there. Having the option to choose apartments with character rather than impersonal hotel rooms appeals to us. We have had only good experiences on here.

In May 2017 we ventured into hosting on here for the first time ourselves and have throughly enjoyed it. So far we are one month in and have met some fantastic, kind and decent people. We hope that this is just the beginning of our Airbnb journey as hosts!
