The property and grounds are charming and ideal for a rainforest/Big Island getaway. We enjoyed the privacy and comfort of the entire stay. Janine is a lovely person and she was very helpful upon check-in. She made sure that we were comfortable and that we had everything that we needed. She also provided helpful tips on where to hike, the best spots and times for viewing the Volcano, and where to eat. Thank you for the lovely stay, Janine! We enjoyed it so much!

Janine's's place was more than we expected and a great value. The house is new and clean. Very conviently located near Volcano National Park with some nearby restaurants. The chickens are fun in the morning, our 2 year old had woke up excited to feed them. She is a very genorous host and very knowledgeable of the area. Highly recommended!!!

Janine's place was very cozy, clean, and private. We enjoyed relaxing on the lanai, which looks out to the garden, and the semi-outdoor shower was also fun! The house has windows on all sides so gets plenty of fresh air and never felt humid despite the rain. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Janine has a great new place that she built south of Hilo, upslope towards Volcanoes National Park. It is in a fabulous location, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great place that is centrally located for all of the east side of Big Island - 10 minutes to National Park, 30 minutes to Hilo, and 40 minutes to Kalapana. We enjoyed our stay very much, and the communication from Janine was incredibly helpful....HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our stay at Janine's AirBNB was fantastic. The house was clean, set up really well, we were nestled in nature and was quiet and peaceful. Wonderful close proximity to both HIlo , Rainbow falls, a health food store, and Volcano National Park. All of which we did on one day. This house was hard to leave. Totally recommend staying here.
