Saeko greeted us at the train station, although we were late Saeko was very patient and kind with us. The area was very clean inside the house and everything is very straight forward. There were rules, and they are very easy to follow. If we needed anything, we sent a message to Saeko, and she would reply within 2 hours. She would ask how we were and to make sure if we had any questions, to ask her. It was a very nice stay, and the neighborhood was quiet at night. It made me and my friend very comfortable here. We absolutely recommend staying here for your stay in Japan. Its a clean place, the hostess is very kind and understanding and tries to help in every way, the neighborhood is nice and quiet, and its comfortable.
This is my best airbnb experience that I've ever had! Motoko and Saeko are truly amazing hosts. They are super friendly and really made me feel like I am home. I am truly grateful that I was able to stay in this beautiful, clean and comfortable place with the lovely hosts. Also, a location is pretty good. The closest metro station is Simoigusa station (Seibu-Shinjuku line). It's only about 8 to 10 mins walk away from the station (depending on your walking speed). But you can also get off at Saginomiya station(where rapid train stops/same line with Simoigusa) or Fujimidai station (Seibu Ikebukuro line). Both stations are about 15 mins walk away. Sometimes I got off at Asagaya station (Chuo line) and took a bus #01 to Saginomiya 4 (Yon)-Chome. From Asagaya station to Saginomiya 4 Chome, it takes about 10 mins by bus and another 5-7 mins on foot to the house. I got the impression that the neighborhood is really safe. I felt very safe even when I walked back home alone at night. I absolutely want to stay again at Motoko & Saeko's place.
I have enjoyed whole procedure with them - the response was very quick and efficient, and all the facilities offered were perfect. Unfortunately I could not meet Mokoto san but she should be very nice person as well as Saeko san. It was so amazing to see how they can keep their apartment very tidy and well-maintained! This apartment is located at residential area but there is no problem to go around for both business or leisure purposes. If you're non-Japanese, I believe you can rather enjoy to see the typical Japanese life style by staying in such area :) 連休中の忙しい折にお邪魔してしまいましたが、快く迎えて頂き、また色々と融通を利かせて頂き本当に有難うございました。お陰で大変楽しく有意義な時間を過ごさせて頂きました(^^)
Thank you very much Saeko & Motoko for your kind hospitality during my stay in Tokyo! The apartment is very neat & clean, the hosts were more than accommodating, & you get to experience living in Tokyo as a local. It was a little bit difficult figuring out how to commute to the location via public transport, but once you figure it out it is quite easy to commute to the city/ sightseeing each day. Arigato! :)
Motoko and Saeko are very nice host. We have a good communication before, so I can have a well living in the apartment. The apartment is very nice, clean and comfortable. Although it's a little bit far away from station, I am enjoy the japanese style environment when I walk to the apartment. If I come to Tokyo again, I must live here again.
Saeko and Motoko san's house is very cosy and clean. Although a walk to the nearest station (Shimoigusa) takes around 10 minutes, it's very easy to remember the way. The neighborhood is a very lovely, calm and tidy residential area. You can find some Japanese restaurants there and they seem even more local than those in the city areas. There are also 24-hour convenience stores (7-11 and Lawson) so you can buy the things you need. The way to get to Shinjuku, Shibuya and Harajuku is quite convenient for me. Saeko picked me up at Shimoigusa station on my arrival day. She is a very nice lady and willing to talk just like a friend. Motoko came for one night and she is also a kind and talkative lady. They are just like friends and I feel very pleasant during my stay there. They helped me search for the Teppanyaki in the city areas and they also helped me send my postcards to my hometown because I could not find a post office on the day I left. Overall, it is a very good airbnb experience. I'll definitely come back if I go to Tokyo again.
