Amanda the host was great, her welcome was informative and comprehensive. The cottage was lovely, well decorated and furnished, with just the two of us visiting we had a choice of 3 bedrooms. The view is great and we had everything we wanted in terms of equipment in the kitchen, Amanda left logs for the open fire, but we were warm enough without lighting it. Its a really great cottage for a bigger party or family, big garden and lots of parking.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Amanda's lovely home! The views were absolutely beautiful to wake up to. As well, we adored the house itself which offered pristine cleanliness, a cozy fireplace, a large dining room, and amazing nautical decor throughout. We had everything we needed, and are so happy to have stayed there.

Had a wonderful experience at Ard Na Mara. Amanda, our host, was very welcoming and gave us plenty of information on what to go see and do in the area. The house was very clean. The location was brilliant and is very close to a wonderful blue flag beach just out past the airport which we happily went for a swim in. Really loved being nestled right beside some bog land at the end of a quiet road where you can walk up onto the hill summit and you have a lovely view of the village below. Would definitely come back and stay here again. Thanks for having us Amanda.

We are just back from 3 nights at Amanda and Mark's house. It was fabulous. The house is perfect for a family break, it is extremely well equipped and very comfortable and homely. The location is beautiful and really peaceful, yet you are only a few minutes from the beautiful Carrick Finn beach and local bars, shops and restaurants. Amanda was very welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. Our three daughters loved the house and there was a great selection of games and dvds to keep them entertained. I would highly recommend this house for a break to this stunning area of Donegal and we look forward to returning some time in 2018. Thank you Amanda.

Had a very enjoyable 5 night stay at Ard Na Mara. House extremely clean, bright, beautifully presented with everything supplied, even breakfast for our first morning (milk, bread, wheaten, jam, butter and a lovely box of chocolates). All those little extras which make it home from home. The beaches and scenery are breathtaking, local Irish pubs are everything you would expect, gorgeous Guinness, an open fire, funny stories from the locals and even an irish sing along. We visited, Bonners, Iggy's, Leo's Tavern (home of Clannad). Had a beautiful meal in the hotel by the bay, Caisleain Oir, well worth a visit. Also did a 1hour trek at the Wild Atlantic Equestrian Centre which was very enjoyable. I highly recommend this home and the area if you are looking for a break away from it all, it ticks all the boxes. Amanda and Mark are great hosts and will always be on hand with help and advice on the local area. We will most definitely be back!
