One bedroom in a recently renovated 1910 Hudson home. Room has private ensuite bathroom. House is roughly 2 blocks from Hudson's main street Warren. You can park your car when you arrive and walk to wonderful bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping your entire visit. Outside of house is still being renovated - see in pics. But work wont be done during time of any guest.

The space

The room (with it's own bathroom) is in my house. Renting as just a room and bathroom. Living room is accessible but not kitchen. This is an ideal space for someone or a couple coming to Hudson to experience it's restaurants, shops, etc. House is a great base for all that Hudson has to offer. Not great for anyone looking to cook, have friends over, etc.

A lovely Victorian that has been meticulously renovated. The extra touches were a pleasure to find (snacks, drinks, toiletries) in our room, we didn't have to ask for anything.

Lovely house and room. The location is just one block off of Warren Street and in a quiet area. We appreciated the host's personal touches including the coffee and breakfast.

What a lovely surprise is the first thing I can say about staying at John's place. A two story home filled vintage paintings, drawing, statues and taxidermy. This place just charged my imagination. My room was lovely and comfortable with a big high bed that I needed to climb into. My room also came with water and some snacks. There was a basic breakfast of fruits and granola. There was also yogurt but I'm not much of a dairy person. John's partner was an absolute sweetheart who I had a moment to chat about Dominican food and Washington Heights. I was only there for two days and John was gracious enough to offer me a ride to the Amtrak when I left. I pretty certain he had no idea I was traveling with an injured foot. The area is lovely and if given an opportunity to return to the Hudson to just get away from the city and write and wander the town, I would most certainly stay at their place.

John is a great host. I'm glad he was my first AirBnb host, he really set a high-bar for other hosts going forward! He was friendly, and very communicative before and during the trip. The house was nice, and the room was clean. Would definitely stay again. Looking at the map the location seems a little "edge of town" but really it's a quick walk to get to most shops and restaurants from the house. Maybe a 20-30min walk from the Train station, if lots of bags a cab is prob worth it. With a light carry walking to the house from the train is a great way to tour Warren St.
