This is my private room in me and my brother's apartment in the heart of Copenhagen. When I'm travelling I'm renting out my room. You will love this place because it is located directly in the center of Copenhagen. With a few min to the shopping street "Strøget" a 5min walk to Christiansborg. 7min walk from both the Main Station and Nørreport station and Metro. There are cafés and restaurants just when walking out the main gate to the apartment.

The space

It is one of the oldest buildings, from 1700, still remaining in Copenhagen. It has a special charm and traits from the older days like a smaller bathroom.

Guest access

We have given the rooms of the apartment a picture from Copenhagen. Your room is "Tivoli". You have your private room, a shared bathroom and kitchen. There are other Airbnb guests renting other rooms in the apartment. The bathroom might be busy in the prime time.

Other things to note

As the apartment is in the heart of Copenhagen you will find that cafees and shops are just next door. There is a really nice cafe as our neighboor and a coffe cafe just on the other side of the street. The shopping street "Strøget" is just 1min walk away.

A little guide to the more local site of Copenhagen.
I'd recomend going to the Cafe "Next Door Cafe" it's a 5 min walk from the apartment. It's one of copenhagen's pearls. A very cosy cafe away from turism. It's owned by an american man and a danish actor. It's the winner of Politikkens Price for best cafe.

"Christiansborg" the home of the danish government is also a 5min walk from the apartment and woth visiting. It has a nice garden to sit in.

Impro Theatre. If you like Impro commedy there just openned an Impro Theater across the street. It has shows on Mondays, Wedensdays and Saturdays. The shows are almost always in english.

"The King's Garden" a park around one of the castels is also woth a visit. It's located near the station "Nørreport" 9min walk.

For Vegan and Vegetarians there is a great restaurant close by called "The Boho Orgnics" and "Simple Raw".

Large room at a superb location. Very thin walls as stated by everyone else and you can hear literally anything, didn't upset us too much. Extremely minimally decorated; while the large windows let in a lot of light they also allow perfect view of the neighbours 3 meters across. As there are no curtains I very quickly discovered the safe spots of the room for getting dressed, which essentially means standing flat against the wall gap between the windows and crouching a bit. You'll also have plenty of light coming in as early as sunrise with very little to do about it. The wardrobe is locked, there is no storage area. There is also no night light so the light situation is fairly binary at pitch dark/light of a thousand suns. Bring your own toiletries, there is none. This bit is possibly a personal preference but the bed is far too soft. I tried to sleep on it during the first night and spent the next three on the floor. I travelled a fair bit and stayed in many different beds but this one takes top prize. I will definitely be visiting Copenhagen again but will not be staying in this room.

I just love the room - comfy, spacious and very stylish. The location is superb - very close to the happenings of night life and a couple of minutes walk from City Hall.

Tea's home is very centrally located and is great! Very clean and cosy. Her room is very comfortable even for two people. Her apartment is very close to everything. Copenhagen is a small city and easy to get around. The shared bathroom is used by residents from four rooms which was suprising to me. I thought it was going to be just two-three people including me but sometimes there are families in the other rooms. The walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors a lot but it didn't bother me. I enjoyed my stay and recommend Tea's place strongly for a short vacation

Tea's place is in a fantastic location. Walking to many main attractions, shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and public transportation. Tea always responded to all e-mails in a timely fashion. As, someone has already mention, the walls are a little thin so conversations can sometimes seem loud. The bathroom according to Tea is quite average for Denmark, but I found it to be a little small, especially when sharing with 5-10 people when all four room were rented.

Tea's place is great if you want to stay in the center of the city and be close to everything. It's true that the walls are thin, but I didn't have any problems with that. The room was more spacious than what I expected and way nicer. Also, there's a couch I didn't notice from the pictures but absolutely loved it. I'd definitely stay there again and would recommend it to a friend no doubts.

Tea's place is very centrally located! I was only a minute away from the hustle and bustle of the city center and with incredibly easy access to shops, bars, and Copenhagen Central Station. It can get lively on the streets in the weekends, but noise doesn't particularly bother me. Make sure to bring a sleeping mask if you're coming to Copenhagen in the summer- sunrise is at 4 am! Thanks for the stay!
