Great place, clean, modern, central to everything. Around the corner from supermarket and all amenities. Apartment above pizza shop ❤️and other shops. Next door was a pub which at the time was closed but looks like it is being done up. We where there over a weekend and the street noises where moderate. Dean was a great host, and fabulous to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

Dean was a great host. The place was very clean and newly renovated and the location is just where you want to be when you're in a new place. Restaurants and grocery stores were just around the place.

We loved, loved, loved this cozy little flat! We rented it for a week and it does make an ideal home base to explore the Loch Lomond area, part of the West coast and Glasgow from there. You can see in so many little details that the apartment is furnished with a loving hand. Very well equipped kitchen, and my kids loved the toy collection and the DVD shelf. The bathtub and the big shower were favourites, too. And seeing the sea from the breakfast table! My favourite place was sitting on the broad window-sill with a cup of tea (placed on one of the lovely little trivets) and my laptop on my knees, working and enjoying the view in varying shares. It was good being in the midst of the lively town, only five minutes walk from the supermarket and the train station. There are several restaurants, cafés and pubs in the same street - which means that on weekends there's quite a bit late-night noise in the streets. (We didn't mind. The small kid's bedroom lies to the back of the house.) The master bedroom doesn't get all dark at night because of street lamps. If you're sensitive with this thing, come prepared. And be careful with the fold-out kitchen table, the sides folded themselves in accidently twice and our drinks were spilled. Probably because we didn't set it up properly (I think the system is a British one, we weren't used to it). It's not a big deal of course, just consider yourselves warned. :) We'll definitely be back if business ever brings us back in the area (WLAN is very good, by the way). In fact, we started every day with wishful sentences like, "Imagine we could stay for a month. Or a year..."

Nicely refurbished flat kitted out with everything you might need. We enjoyed our stay; if visiting Loch Lomond this is only around 15 minutes away.
