Beautiful, sunny one bedroom penthouse apartment on the Upper West Side with a huge wrap-a-round terrace and stunning Eastern, Southern and Western views of the city, including downtown and Central Park. Super convenient location just steps to Central Park with easy access to multiple trains and buses.
Located on stately West 86th Street and Columbus Avenue, only 1 block from from Central Park! A luxurious oasis after touring the hectic city. This is the famous neighborhood from the movie "You've Got Mail!"
There are many great cafes, restaurants, bars and grocery stores on Broadway, Amsterdam and Columbus avenues and we're quite near Lincoln Center and the American Museum of Natural History. The location couldn't be better as it's also centrally located between the 86th Street stops for the B/C trains at Central Park West and the 1 train at Broadway. The crosstown bus (M86) stops right outside the building and the M7 and M11 buses stop just around the corner. On Sundays, there is a great farmers’ market nearby on Columbus and 81st Street and a wonderful flea market on Columbus Avenue and 77th Street.
Sunny, charming and a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle below. Sip your morning coffee while observing the city wake up from your private terrace, dine alfresco while watching the sun set, enjoy a glass of wine while taking in twinkling skyline views including the Empire State Building, or watch all of the holiday firework displays (including the New Year's Eve fireworks!) from inside the apartment and on the terrace! If you prefer to stay indoors, relax on the sofa while enjoying full cable TV, surfing the web with wireless internet access or perusing one of our many travel magazines. If you venture to the famous Fairway market, we have a fabulously stocked kitchen (including spices and condiments) for your creations.
Our home is your home for your stay so we leave plenty of fresh towels, clean linens, soap, umbrellas and little touches like coffee, tea and bottled water for you to enjoy. We also have a washing machine/dryer (the height of luxury in NYC!) so you can travel light and have room in your suitcase for goodies you find during your stay. Our only request is you treat our home as if you're staying with a friend. This is our primary residence, therefore, there will be clothes in the closet, but we'll leave plenty of room for yours during your stay. We have a full size bed with high quality linens and a twin size air mattress available should you need additional accommodations.
In addition to regular apartment amenities, our apartment is equipped with a land-line phone with free calls to anywhere in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

No Parties. This is a quiet building.
We love kids, but our apartment is not childproof and not suitable for those with young ones.
I've lived in New York for 15 years and believe that NYC is the best city in the world! The restaurants, theatre and unique opportunities that the city offers are amazing, and most of all I appreciate the intelligent and interesting people that the city attracts. I love to travel all over the world and especially love France, Italy, Tanzania and Turks & Caicos. When I travel I primarily like to explore the best restaurants, from multiple Michelin starred landmarks to hole-in-the-wall treasures, and I have a curated list of favorites in NYC that I'd be happy to share with you. I love to ski and snorkel and watch Alabama football, and I travel a lot for all three. Whether I'm at home or traveling, I want to stay in beautiful, comfortable accommodations, and I hope that you will find my home to be just that.
