The space

We have never seen a property like this before--every upgrade is here and the hot tub and outdoor kitchen are truly perfect! We also love the location as we frequently visit both Asheville and the Cherokee Resort and Casino; we have also fallen in love with historic downtown Waynesville which features the perfect mix of boutique shopping experiences, coffee shops, bakeries and chef-owned restaurants. Short distance to Maggie Valley and Cataloochee Ski Area, this cabin provides an escape with access to the most popular activities in the Great Smoky Mountains!

Our experience was FABULOUS! Even better than we had hoped. The lights were on when we arrived, the cabin was so charming! We were thrilled from the moment we spotted it from our car. The kitchen was marvelous with plenty of room for more than 1 cook. The bed was very comfy with nice linens and pillows. The bath was wonderful with excellent water pressure and hot water. Towels were fluffy and ample. (There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, but it was just the 2 of us, so we only used the master.) Plenty of nice closet space. We loved drinking the cool, delicious mountain water from the faucets. No need to take bottled water in our opinion! The living space, (with gas logs - HEAVEN!), dining area with fireplace and magnificent grill, covered porch with nice cushioned furniture, Jacuzzi, (OH MY!!! GREAT!), fire pit, (with wood stacked and ready to go), - ALL WONDERFUL! Excellent wifi even out on the covered porch and dining area away from the main cabin. An added bonus was sitting on the porches watching a herd of sheep across the street. We spotted lots of white sheep - and finally the 1 black sheep showed up! It was so unexpected and fun! Waynesville is a charming town with great shopping and dining. Asheville is an easy drive where there is plenty to do and enjoy as well. We took at drive to Brevard, Cashiers and Highlands - all EASY day trips. Before we came home, we visited a local fruit stand in Waynesville, Barber's, where the apples were freshly picked and abundant! Plenty of bakery goods and canned goods to enjoy there as well. So much to do! Shannon, the property manager was so kind and helpful - always available if we needed anything. We were sad when departure day came. Our advise . . . GO for a visit and stay as long as you can possibly stay. We're going back just as soon as we can!!!!

What a hidden gem! I needed to relax and this is the place it needed to happen! You won't regret booking this cabin, it was "magical " as my husband put it. Lol. They have the cabin and a separate little structure that has a dinning room table, fireplace and a BBQ with full lights, then the hot tub with a little cover and a deck and then you have a fire pit!! So much to do, it was amazing!!! I'll be back ☺

Albert and Melissa's cabin is a Waynesville oasis! What a special place in an already beautiful town. My husband and I and our best friends spent a weekend at the cabin in celebration of my birthday and the cabin was the perfect place to relax and enjoy time together. We ate dinner and played board games at the outdoor kitchen and spent every evening in the hot tub! Everything about the place is thoroughly detailed to make you feel relaxed and at home. We loved "Nestled Inn the Woods" and are already planning our next trip!

This place was great! Not too far off the beaten path, but still quiet and away from other people; we even had some sheep wander down near the cabin. The grounds were ideal! We grilled for every meal in the screened in grilling patio that was perfect, and the hot tub was wonderful on cool nights. The home was clean and well maintained and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend in!

This is a great place for a quiet get-away. The cabin is exactly as described, and although it looks rustic, it has every convenience. It's about a 15 minute drive into town, and I recommend arriving before dark because the roads are narrow and winding. Also, because of the remote location, internet and cell phone reception are spotty. But the hot tub is great for a relaxing soak, the fire pit is ideal for marshmallow roasting, and the outdoor kitchen even has a wood burning oven. An excellent choice.
