The living room is where we usually meet to eat diner or drink some beers and tell stories. We love to chat and we definetly love to hear someone else's adventures! This column divides the bedroom / bathroom zone from the living room.

The appartement is very cozy and has a lot of light. It is located in a zone with a lot of good public transportation (u can be in Plaza Catalunya in only 8 minutes by metro), cinemas, parks and supermarkets. It is a nice and quiet neighbourhood.

The space

As you get in, you can see the livingroom as a big opened space. The furniture that arranges it is composed by a table, a little sofa, an armchair and a console table. There's also a turntable with my little collection of vynils for all the tastes. There's no TV. We don't believe in that. We prefer to just listen to music and talk around a beer, or read a book, or simply watch your favourite series or movies in your pc.
There are 3 rooms. IMPORTANT: None of them has a twin-sized bed, all three of them have single beds. Nevertheless, two of the bedrooms have trundle beds so you can fit four people in two rooms and one other person in the third one. Two of the rooms are exterior, and they must be like 15m2 more or less. Although they aren't the biggest rooms you'll find, you have enough space to do everything, and they have a lot of light. Then there's another room, a little bit smaller, that's interior but it has a big window that opens to the little patio we have. It's quiet and nice. They're all furnished with the bed, a desk, and wardrobes (but since we live here they are fulfilled with our stuff). All the appartment (minus the bathrooms and kitchen) has parquet flooring.
There are two bathrooms. The big one, with a shower and a bath tub, a big sink, a bidé, big mirror, it has everything you would need. The second one, smaller, with the basic: a toilet, a shower and a sink. You can actually feel the difference since while one is having her make-up done to go out to dinner in front of the big mirror, the other one can go wash her hair to the other bathroom.
The kitchen is big and it has also its dinner space (with a table and four chairs). It has everything you'd want/need in a kitchen: oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, four different sized stoves, a squeezer, a coffee maker, etc. There's no dishwasher but there are two sinks. You'd have at your disposal all the plates and glasses as all the frying pans and pots. There are many utensils to make your cooking experience as comfy as if you were at home. Connected to the kitchen there's this little space for the laundry with a washing machine, and from it, you can go to the little patio. There isn't much to tell about that, there are some plants and two chairs so you can smoke here or take a breathe of fresh air.

This appartment is very very very dear to me since it's been in my family for ages. I have experienced some of my best memories in here so if you're willing to come here I'll ask you to look after it as if it was your own's, with a lot of care and respect for our stuff. I'm sure you'd have the best of times, it really has some glow, some kind of atmosphere that makes you wanna stay-in and have some quality social time with your friends.

It's location is really good. Although it's not in the exact fervent center of the city you can manage to be there in less than 15 minutes thanks to public transportation. You have two subway lines at 5min walking from home (L7 Putxet station from plaza cataluña in only 6 stops - 8min- and L3 Vallcarca station in only 4 stops from plaza cataluña -5min-). You also have many different bus stops during the day (22, v15, v17), all of them take you to the center and have the greatest connections to go from side to side of the city. There's also two different options of night bus (really secure lines) for all of you who are ready to party.

As I said before, this is not the center of the city, you're at the upper side of town. The neighbourhood it's called Sant Gervasi and it's quiet with a lot of schools, families and dogs in here. The good thing about not being in the center is that you avoid all the tourists that gather in the streets, so when you go to buy some milk you don't have to wait 30min in the line. Also a great point is that it's really secure, and that you can come back at really late hours at night and nothing will happen to you. It's also really clean, not at all smelly like the Gothic (since we don't have the young drunk people peeing on our streets). You will find out there are many beautiful parks around the corner -literally- The Putxet Park is just outside, 2min walk (great place to see all Barcelona from the heights) and La Tamarita Park, 4min walk (a beautiful laied-back park where young lovers lay in the grass). The neighbourhood is also great deserved with supermarkets; I think in a radius of a 10min walk you can easily find 7 different big supermarkets. Just downstairs you have a little grocery store open until 11pm for the last hour cravings. And if you love to go to the movies from time to time, you're in luck! There is this huge cinema: it's a new one, I think it's been open for only 3 years. It has all the latest films in original version subtitled in Spanish. The ticket fee is not really expensive (8e) and every wednesday it's reduced to 5e.
If, like me, you enjoy a good walk, you can go to Gracia neighbourhood -the REAL Barcelona- and be there in 20min, or if you prefer you can take a bus or the subway and be there in the blink of an eye. You are also next to some of the gems of Barcelona like it is the Park Güell and the Tibidabo theme park.

Interaction with guests

I won't be in Barcelona in all summer but I have a dearest friend who would be your contact in case you needed something.
