I would to address some of your concerns in hopes of assisting future guest with the decision to stay at our home.
Please keep in mind that the home is a shared space, therefore, it is simply impossible to accommodate everyone’s temperature preference. The home is nearly 3000 sqft and in order to properly cool the entire home a license HVAC contractor recommended that we maintain the thermostat at the display temperature. The thermostat is locked to ensure that guest are not constantly changing the temperature and potentially the damaging the unit. In addition, this is one of the main reasons we provide a separate unit in the room.
In regards to the bath Showerhead, the temperature of the unit can be set from cold to hot. The knob at the very bottom is what should be used to adjust the temperature of the water. In regards to the hand held faucet for the tub, there is a lever you can use to operate the faucet. We would have been more than happy to assist you with operating anything that you were not familiar with. As you can see we have 100% communication rate and would have been happy to answer your call or text.
In regards to the lockbox, another guest who experienced an issue with the lockbox was caused by rain and cold temperatures which cause the lockbox to freeze a little. The lockbox has since been replaced and most guest have not had an issue since.
