A peaceful, secluded, light and bright cabin, next to the river Ash a mile outside of Ashburton. The cabin is simply furnished, with futon, sofa, tea and coffee making facilities, and simple organic breakfast. It is within our 1 acre garden, and has its own garden space, with outside table, chairs and fire bowl. Shared bathroom, shower and toilet are up the garden path in the main house. There is no running water in the cabin, but there is a crock dispensing pure Dartmoor water for you to drink.
- As this is a secluded, rural family home, we would ask that there is quiet after 10.30. In the house, we ask that guests remove their shoes. Please refrain from smoking in the cabin, house or garden.
We live in harmony with nature as much as we can, growing some food and enjoying the wildness of our one acre garden. We have many interesting friends who come and go and share the beauty of the space with us. We are a committed vegan/vegetarian and no-smoking household and ask that you respect this. We have dogs and cats living with us who are friendly and love meeting new people. We are happy to offer our beautiful, tranquil space for others to share and enjoy and hope that you love it as much as we do.
