The boat is very nice and looks beautiful in the marina of Siracusa. It's a bit of an adventure to get on to boat, we were lucky that we had backpacks and no suitcases, because you have to climb. There are a lot of cabins on the boat, they are all very small! Is was quite challenging so life there for a big man. The cabins also get very hot. Luckily we had a fan to place in front of the cabin for fresh air. Siim allowed us to use a free cabin for our luggage, otherwise we would have had a problem. Siim was nice to us, but not very communicative. The mentioned breakfast was not provided for us, but we were allowed to use the fridge and the kitchen. We had a good time in Siracusa, but you should expect tiny and warm rooms.

Spend a night on a boat is a nice experience to try at least one time in the life, but it is a very spartan accomodation. The boat has small rooms and in the summer they're very hot. It's a little difficult to get on board because of the unstable wooden stairs, so it's better to bring just small baggages. Our host was polite but I think he could be more precise in the indications (for example, I had some problem finding the parking he talked me about) and more attentive at his guest's needs.

The ship is beautiful! The ladder to step on board is very funny and makes you feel like a pirate. The rooms are very small and actually pretty hot. The host we met was nice and kept very much to his own business. Just remember its a ship; don't expect comfortable toilets. A nice experience, probably one-two nights are enough.

Communication and check in fine. Ended up leaving because it was quite dirty and did not agree with disposing human effluent directly into the marina, especially considering the number of people on board. Certainly a bad practice and frowned upon in most marinas. The boat crew didn't see the problem and said in Italy nobody cares- well I did. Fair enough at sea but not in a town marina.

Oh well, i think you should also know that the whole town's waste system is from previous centuries and it all flows to the sea :)

Cool place to stay the night! You'll stay on the Hopper which is nearly a hundred years old - the crew has done a great job of restoring the boat and it is beautiful. The cabins don't have much space and it was hot in June, but it was a unique experience and Siim was very nice! We even rented the dingy for the morning to explore the bay.

Very well located, very well hosted by Siim. A true sailor's experience! Some details for the future sailors: - we could park the car for free in the marina's parking lot - you go on the ship thanks to a ladder not suited for disabled people - the cabin can be too small for 2 large persons - in practice we used the restrooms and showers from the marina(not from the ship) which is not a problem but to be mentionned
