Architect-converted water mill with garden next to a burn (stream). Fully equipped kitchen, lovely dining and lounge area with exposed beams in the ceiling and a glass balcony looking out to Loch Tay. Great for outdoor activities, sight-seeing or relaxing. Over 100 positive reviews and a 5 star rating for this unique home which sleeps 6 adults or 4 adults and 4 children.

The space

This is a converted mill building from the 18th century. Renovated in 1991, it has oil-fired central heating, a lovely modern kitchen, a very cosy dining and sitting room and spectacular views from a glass balcony out to the Loch.
There is a real wood stove in the sitting area and big comfy sofas - ideal for an evening in.
There are three bedrooms - two double beds and one with bunk beds. There is a bathroom and a shower room.
Our guests say they like: The lovely kitchen, living area, balcony and the great location.
Our guests comment on: the exposed roof beams mean some dust while the bedrooms are quite functional.
You have the run of the house and garden. There is free parking for three cars. Easy to find on the A827. 10 miles from food shops and petrol. No wifi or TV. In winter, bring firelighters, wood and a torch!
Please note - we only accept two nights + bookings.

Guest access

You get the whole house and garden and free parking.

Other things to note

Our stay at the Mill was excellent! It is extremely cozy and much better than I expected from the pictures. The views are breathtaking. The mornings were a treat in that house. I highly recommend it!

A great house to get away from it all. Lovely views to take in from the balcony, or chill by the fire with a book. No TV, WiFi or even mobile internet to drag you back to reality! We'll be back.

This place is a treasure and made our wee holiday. Absolutely gorgeous house in a great location for exploring the area. The pictures really don't do it justice...when we arrived we were just in awe of the old building and how beautifully it has been converted. Please don't be put off by no tv or wifi - its what makes this place and lets you appreciate the beauty of it even more. We loved our stay and hope to be back for longer in the near future. Thanks Alex!

The house/mill is much better than I expected from the pictures. The location is wonderfully quiet but restaurants, shops etc are still easily reachable. The garden, kitchen and living room are very beautiful and inviting. The rooms and bathrooms are very basic but still very cosy. Next time I would like to spend more time here than just two nights. Highly recommended!

The great thing about AirBnB you get to stay in unique places such as this. A fantastic living space upstairs with a dining/living area with plenty of room for a group of 6.
