La Singlarie is an organic farm provding the perfect base in a unique setting with panoramic views of Najac, one of the “Plus beaux villages de France” and a “Grande Site Midi-Pyrénées”
Couples, families and groups are welcome to take a step back from the rush of modern life and relax; visit the local area rich in history and culture, perhaps go swimming, hire a kayak or bike nearby, horse ride, taste the local cuisine in the many local restaurants and bars.
Our converted stone barn has two well appointed and spacious gites retaining a traditional style but with modern fixtures and fittings. Each has been designed to offer privacy with large private terraces giving spectacular views across the Aveyron valley to Najac’s ruined château, the medieval village and surrounding countryside.
We will be delighted to show you the farm and introduce you to our organic methods for raising commercial livestock.
Children (and adults!) can help feed the chickens and ducks, Gorgon the Kune Kune pig and his lady friend, the donkeys, Bambou and Vanille and our retired sheep, Miss Fatty .
Our guests are free to explore the farm noting that children should be accompanied as it is a working environment.
Interaction with guests
We live and work on the farm and welcome the opportunity to answer any questions our guests may have.
