Street view from the front door. On this street in the summer we have bands playing, fleamarkets... a lot of happenings. This way is the Kumpula park.

Small apartment, with no shower inside the apartment, but one big shower just downstairs. I like the peace and quiet in this house, but very easy access to park and city centre only 20 min by bus.
Great wifi.

The space

Double bed, and you can remove the top mattress in case you need another bed.
You have all kitchen appliances.
Only one little set of stairs to get to the apartment. Small toilet.

Guest access

Whole apartment, all 21 square meters =)

Interaction with guests

I can be in contact with you through airbnb messages in case I am traveling far and you need to ask something.
But I have written everything down pretty excessively here in the notes already: traveling around, tips, how to use everything etc.
Thank you

Other things to note

SHOWER
Use the shower downstairs, but THURSDAY - SATURDAY from 5pm- 10pm there are people in the sauna, so do not use the shower then. Feel free to use it anytime before or after.
Sauna for you FRI 9pm-10pm. Just go in, everything is ready. Keep clean.

How to find the shower (and sauna): leave the apartment, take the door on the left downstairs, then turn left again, first door on the left is the shower.

Keep the shower area tidy.

A bit out from Helsinki centre, but close to the conference centre. Fairly basic with a communal shower but great value for money and the Tia is very helpful.

The apartment is exactly as advertised, in an old but well-maintained wooden apartment building in an idyllic, leafy, quiet part of Helsinki known from its historical 2/3-story wooden buildings, outside the core downtown, but still within the old city limits - a park-like hilly area (where one of the campuses of the University of Helsinki is located) is just next to the house, and a community garden area is also close-by. The apartment is compact but with efficient use of space; the bathroom could be a bit tight for a really big/tall person. With a bicycle (a main path is just behind the house), I was able to reach the Kallio area with pubs and restaurants in 10-15 minutes, and the heart of downtown in 25-30 minutes - if you want to cycle round the Old City Bay (Vanhankaupunginlahti), as I did one early evening, the apartment is well positioned - as I'm originally from Helsinki, I was able to easily find my old bicycle routes using the apartment as a base. Tia's place is ideal (and reasonably priced) if you do not need to be in the very city center, though you can get there within a reasonable time if you need to, and if you enjoy being close to city park areas and nature - I can say this from my own experience in the summer, but I believe this would apply in the winter as well (though taking into account the seasonal limitations on moving around). As to Check-in and Check-out arrangements and communications, these went very smoothly with Tia.

I love traveling, music, arts and yoga. Those things pretty much sum up who I am and that you can also see when you stay at my home.
My favourite destinations: India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Stockholm, Riga......Berlin..London...
I love jazz, yoga and painting.
I mostly backpack myself but lately I have travelled a lot teaching yoga.
