I rate my overall experience 3 out of 5. some things being less, some more. Communication was pretty good. I expressed a concern about not getting any hot water in the shower the first night and I received a response pretty fast. The place needs some work, the front door knob was broken and would come off in your hand. It was not homey at all, full of clutter everywhere but I just stuck in my assigned room anyway. The things I rate lower are the fact that the house is left open and unlocked to anyone (which is fine I guess) But my bedroom door only locked from the inside. This means while I was gone my belongings were not secure. The front door policy wasn't communicated to me until I asked. The need for clarification that I was aware of this by the other tenant of the house prompted a 9:45pm knock on my bedroom door to ask me not to lock the door or he'd be locked out. not cool bro. I was in my PJs and seconds from going to sleep as I had an early morning rise. The other thing I rate low was the overall cleanliness but especially the bathroom. When I finally DID get the hot water to work, the shower was grimey. The whole bathroom had a thin layer of grime. The pigs were cute and a plus for me but your bedroom is directly downwind so be forewarned of the smell. The thing that would rate this high for me was that I was very close to where I needed to be for the class I was taking up there and the value. Although this wasn't an amazing place it did the job. The bed was comfortable and the hosts were nice in their communication. I never actually met them. They have the potential for a really nice place here, they just need to step it up a bit.

This was a lovely spot, we had great stay. Would definitely return. :) Also the pigs were super cute.

Perfect Asheville getaway! Drew is an AWESOME host, everything was really nice. House is located minutes from downtown and Blue Ridge. Room was great, bed is super comfy. Max is lovely and friendly. Don't forget to say hi to the pigs when you stay there!

Harold (60-lb dog) and I had a great stay at Drew's. He's extremely flexible and accommodating. His property is pretty utopian with the tiny houses and piggies. Not too close to the city, but the highway is right there so it's convenient to get to. Quiet at night.

Drew is a fabulous host! He was helpful and accommodating with all of our needs. His property has a beautiful garden and is nestled in a cluster of tiny homes, definitely great for the environmentally friendly!

Loved Drew's house (and the piggies). Drew was such a nice host, and his house was clean and organized. His property was right next to Blue Ridge Parkway, and it was also very close to downtown (10 min drive). Will definitely stay again the next time we are in Asheville.

I travel for dancing. And between dances I train small business on inventory management and accounting. I'm building my tiny house and trying to find a place to *permanently* park it. I've made a couple fun trips to the Northeast with the house in the prototype stage. Complet…
